What the gurus are saying

Gurus praise this eye cream for being well-tolerated around the sensitive eye area without irritation, even when applied to upper eyelids. The thicker texture compared to regular retinaldehyde serums is noted as a key advantage, preventing the product from running into eyes. Community consensus leans positive, though the sample size of expert reviews is small.

"I'm currently using retinaldehyde around my eyes. With Aven retinaldehyde, I used a pump bottle of the retinaldehyde eye cream and when I finished it up, I had a full size bottle of the retinaldehyde 0.1 intensive and I was like, I'm going to go rogue here and just use it under my eyes, around my eyes, to my upper eyelids. And I honestly don't find it to be irritating at all. The biggest difference I have noticed between the facial product and the true eye cream product is that the eye cream product is a little thicker and is less likely to run into your eye. I have noticed that, which you don't want to get that in your eye, obviously."

"Don't put it on your eyelid skin unless you're using a retinol eye cream or a retinaldehyde eye cream like Aven."
