"I'm constantly recommending this body lotion, which comes from Aveeno. It has colloidal oatmeal for hydrating, anti-inflammatory action and reducing transepidermal water loss, from oat kernel flour, plus dimethicone to further reduce water loss, and glycerin for long-lasting hydration. The Aveeno daily moisturizing body lotion in a pump is great, and there's no niacinamide either for those who are sensitive. Although it's a body lotion, it's worth trying on the face too, since there's no rule against that and you might find it works well there and saves you money."

"I'm not super familiar with the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Lotion, so let me look that up real quick. It contains dimethicone, 1.2%. I have a difficult time with any kind of skincare product that contains silicone or some kind of a cone in it. It can be really, really great, it's a great ingredient, it's great for skin, especially for people who tend to be a little bit more on the oily side but need that hydration. However, the combination of the cone in the Aveeno moisturizer and the E.L.F. Power Grip Primer to me sounds like a bad combo. It feels like that's where we're going wrong. It just feels like those might be clashing, like they might not be working together very easily."
