"It helps soften the skin, it helps your skin hold on to hydration, and it certainly can make your skin look better. But so many times luxury brands are pricing their moisturizers at 100, 200, 300 plus dollars when they don't really add that much additional value to your routine than a basic moisturizer. [...] You could achieve similar results with something that is so much more affordable. If you're someone who is saving up for your skin care or for your skin care procedures, this is not the place to invest. [...] I don't think you can expect miracle results from these types of moisturizers."

"That moisturizer is from the brand Augustinus Bader, it's a luxury skincare brand. This one is 265 dollars for one fluid ounce, that's really really expensive. But looking at the ingredient list, the second ingredient is sunflower seed oil, a great nourishing oil for the face that I love. It also has squalane, one of my favorite moisturizing oils out there. It has avocado oil, it has shea butter, evening primrose oil, panthenol, even a little bit of lactic acid, and it's free of undisclosed fragrance, and I don't see any irritating essential oils. Overall the ingredient list looks great, I totally would use this product. I don't know if I would spend that much money, however I do like the ingredient list."
