"It has a bit of a unique texture. This particular cream is what we call a reverse emulsion where you have drops of water suspended in oil. And when you do that, it gives a very luxurious texture that a lot of brands don't offer. Particularly for mature skin that tends to be a bit more dry, these sort of oil dominant formulations can just feel extra moisturizing for them. It is a really beautiful effective moisturizer, but for me personally, having that extra TFC8 complex in there really isn't enough for me to want to spend $300 on it. If you're using Augustina Bader Rich Cream for that textural element as your main driver of wanting to use it, you do have other products that offer that. If you are trying to stretch your budget or you have to be financially conscious for certain reasons, this might not be the place that I choose to spend the most in my anti-aging skin journey. I will say I have received this product as a gift from the brand a couple of times. And do I use it up every single time? I sure do."

"This should be the last step in your routine. So if you use serums and moisturizers, this would go at the end. The consistency is sort of like a rich honey. When you open it up it may have a little bit of a separation to it, so I use this little spatula that comes with and you give it a good mix. They say to use just a pea-size amount, but I use a little bit more than that, and then you warm it up in your hands until it has more of a serum consistency and then you press it into the skin. They say this repairs and heals and you guys, it is so true. You wake up in the morning with the bounciest, most hydrated skin imaginable. I believe that the founder Kim suffers from eczema dermatitis and using this product helped her completely get off of cortisone, so it made a real difference to her skin as far as the healing goes."
