What the gurus are saying

The experts who tried it found a hydrating cream that layers well with other actives and plays nicely even with acne-prone combination skin, never triggering breakouts. One noted it's lightweight despite feeling rich, though not quite as occlusive as heavier barrier creams, so those seeking maximum overnight protection may want to pair it with a richer occlusive on top. Both reviewers use it twice daily without issue.

"The Astera Ado Barrier 365 cream, which is 32 bucks. This one's got squalane, demethylone, vitamin E, and caveides. This one's nice. This one works well for me for daytime. It's just not quite as occlusive as some of the other ones, but it's really nice and hydrating. It has no scent to it."

"I have the face cream version of this, the Ado Barrier 365 cream. And honestly, I use that cream almost every day, twice a day right now. It is very rich but lightweight. I use it alongside tininoan. I will use it with vitamin C, copper peptides. It's my go-to cream right now. I just love the way that it makes my skin look and feel. Great for all skin types. It's also fragrance-free. This is K beauty. I have combination skin. I'm very acne prone and that cream never ever breaks me out. It is amazing and I think it's going to be great for the winter months."
