"Arenia Holy Hop Serum. My skin has been drinking this up. I'm nearly out of it. Arenia is another brand that I thought were all hype, but their cleansers and serums have just given me a new love for those product categories. What first caught my attention was the texture of this. I didn't get it at first, I was like, why would I want to use a serum in that form? This is like a mask. It feels time consuming and messy, but I love the consistency when I finally got around to using it. It felt extra hydrating somehow from the moment you apply it. I think it's because it's thicker than your typical watery serum. You could use it as a mask as well. You could leave it on for like 10 minutes and rub in. It spreads so easily, absorbs super quickly. No sticky residue, no weird film. Leaves your skin looking smooth, fresher. It gives more of a soft glow than that glass skin sheen that everyone's after. But either way, your skin will look noticeably healthier after this. The star ingredient is the hop extract, which is packed with vitamins A, C, and E. You've got antioxidant protection in there too. Brightening and calming. Hop isn't a common ingredient, but I do feel like it's doing a lot of the heavy lifting in this product. We also have niacinamide, which helps with brightening, texture, and sebum production, as well as adenosine."
