What the gurus are saying

Gurus consistently praise this for its rare balance of moisture and lightness, calling it ideal for combo or lightly dry skin types that need hydration without greasiness or pilling. It performs especially well on sensitive areas like neck and chest. The main caveat is that it lacks real brightening power despite marketing claims, and those with acne-prone skin should note it contains multiple potentially comedogenic ingredients. Overall reception is strongly positive for its texture, ease of use, and value.

"This is a very lightweight, milky lotion texture. It is moisturizing, but it's not a stiff cream, and it's not gel-like or emulsion-like either. It's just a very fluidy, lightweight lotion. This is a really good amount of balancing moisture without overwhelming your skin. Great for combo skin types. This is great if your combo skin maybe leans just a tiny bit more dry in certain areas. You're going to appreciate how much moisture this brings without the grease and without the thickness. This doesn't bring a lot of oclusivity to the skin, so if you're severely dehydrated, this may not be the very best moisturizer for you. But this is going to be really great for folks who maybe just have a tiny bit of dehydration, a little bit of that dry feeling on the skin. I think this more firmly stands for balanced skin types, combo skin types, people who are leaning with just a kiss of dryness on the skin. You're going to enjoy this one a lot. What I really like about it is it's not sticky or tacky in the finish. It softens the skin, sinks in really good, does the moisturization inside without any tackiness on the outside."

"I've actually been really liking this one from Anua because it feels like just as moisturizing as other creams but it's so much thinner and lighter and there's a little bit more of a hydration factor to it too than like a true medium cream. The lotiony aspect of this, the milky aspect of this, really just spreads and absorbs into this skin a lot better. So I've been using this a lot for my neck and chest especially and I don't get any peeling or any greasiness, but my skin feels so soft and conditioned and so smooth."

"It's an amazing body product. I've been putting it on my body a lot and I've actually been using it a lot for my hands too because your hands need love as well and my neck and chest. It's actually a perfect neck and chest cream because it's not heavy or greasy so it doesn't pile up and peel up on your skin. I feel like a lot of things pill on my neck that don't on my face but this is perfect. I'm going to rate this an eight out of 10. I was impressed with this. I didn't want to be impressed with this but I was impressed with this as well."

"This is called a moisturizing milk but it truly is like a lotion type of moisturizer. It's not as heavy and dense as a cream, it's a lot lighter and not really super occlusive on the skin. What really impressed me about this particular product is it actually does pack a lot of moisture in a light breathable lotion texture. It's very nourishing, very skin softening, very comforting, skin soothing. There's a really nice skin brightening effect here with some niacinamide in addition to the rice, and there's just a really nice silky richness to this while still maintaining a milky lotion feel. So it's thin, it's light, it's breathable but it's moisturizing. It will soften your skin, it will condition your skin, it feels silky and rich and luxurious but light."

"No denatured alcohols, no fragrance, made in Korea. Very easy to use, good ingredients, good antioxidants, and no animal testing. On the performance side, the price is affordable and it definitely has the it factor. So I gave it a 10 out of 10."
Anua Skincare 🆕 Rice 70 Intensive Moisturizing Milk Review, How to Use, Dupes & Alternatives
"You can use it morning or evening. If you have oily skin this might be enough as a moisturizer for you as opposed to using another cream. For my skin I use this one underneath a thicker moisturizer at night and then during the daytime I'll use this over my vitamin C serum and then go onto my sunscreen after it. It has a very nice lotion texture and sets to kind of a natural slightly radiant finish that is just a little bit tacky but not terribly so. The texture is wonderful. You can use this all over your face and neck. I really like this one for my neck and décolletage area because it feels really nice on those spots. The neck is tricky, if you use something too thick it'll end up peeling during the daytime and if you use something too thin then it ends up feeling kind of dry or itchy. So it feels very nice for that. The beneficial ingredients include rice bran water which is a hydrating ingredient, niacinamide which is a skin brightening anti-acne ingredient, metal foam seed oil which is an emollient and antioxidant, and coconut oil which is an emollient but a lot of people don't love coconut oil."
Anua Skincare 🆕 Rice 70 Intensive Moisturizing Milk Review, How to Use, Dupes & Alternatives
"This one's nice, it's lightweight, it's hydrating, it feels nice on skin. For spring and summer this would probably be an all-in-one product. For me it works well over my vitamin C serum, and it's been kind of hard to find a good moisturizer that works well with it but this one seemed to work great for me. For what this product promises to swiftly hydrate and nourish skin with abundant moisture, promoting a glowy complexion and brightening a dull complexion and preventing moisture loss, I would say this delivers on most of those. However, there's really no brightening. I mean we've got niacinamide in there but in terms of brightening, there's really no other brightening ingredients in here, so I think that's a little bit of an over-the-top promise. It's not going to brighten your skin. Niacinamide will help but in terms of really brightening your skin, this isn't going to be a product that I would recommend if you have severe hyperpigmentation or melasma or dark spots. It's not going to hurt but it's a little bit over the top in my opinion. It's friendly for most skin types with the exception of acne prone skin. For acne prone skin we've got coconut oil, ceto alcohol, glycerol, carbomer, sorbitan isostearate, squalene, vitamin E, palmitic acid and stearic acid, so nine acnegenic ingredients is a lot. If you have very acne prone skin or even slightly acne prone skin just be cautious."

"Very nice lotion, works great as a light moisturizer, very good value for the price. It'll last quite quite some time. Works well under a hydrating toner to help seal in moisture. It's a lovely product. I love it."
