What the gurus are saying

Gurus split on this toner. One praises its gentle, calming formula and thinks it's underrated, recommending twice-weekly use max. The other appreciates the formula's ceramides and fragrance-free profile but passes due to tea tree oil, citing concerns about hyperpigmentation risk for darker skin tones. The core tension is between its soothing efficacy and ingredient choices for specific skin types.

"It has fruit extract such as Hans plus ceramides which I loved. This was so close to being something that I would recommend because it doesn't even have fragrance in it. But as it stands, it's a moving on because of the tea tree oil. Tea tree is not the thing that you want to really put on, especially if you have skin of color and you hyperpigment."

"You get salicylic acid and your 2 percent salicylic acid. Even if you feel during acne, if you feel your skin is getting a little irritated and your skin is not feeling great, this is very calming and soothing. This product is highly underrated, it should be viral. This is the Anua 2% BHA Exfoliating Toner. But again, even though this is super gentle, please don't use it more than twice a week. Twice a week maximum, three times a week at most, not more than that."
