What the gurus are saying
This contour builds with a natural finish that never looks heavy or overdone. The key to getting it right comes down to two things: finding shades that harmonise with your actual skin tone so the contour reads defined rather than muddy, and applying it in light layers, starting with a whisper of powder and building gradually. That way you avoid the hollow, unflattering look that comes from pressing too much product into one spot.

"This is Anastasia Beverly Hills contour stick. And I just want like a little bit right here just to like really emphasize those cheekbones a bit more. I feel like everything else is on the warmer side. So, I'm not going to overdo the more like proper contour shade."

"This is like my favorite contour lately. The Anastasia one. It's a good color for complexion. Yeah, it's the best."
"Switching over to Anastasia Beverly Hills to do my cheekbones. Somebody told me that they're discontinuing Fawn so if you need to pick it up pick it up. I don't know if they're just discontinuing the stick in general or if they're coming out with new shades, but I just went and I bought two because they're discounted, so get them while you can. It's something that I really like to do. It's something I just can't live without."

I'm here to teach you how I make my makeup look like skinnn
"To contour my face I'm using Anastasia Beverly Hills Fawn cream Contour and I'm applying that with my brush. If you have a problem with your makeup looking really really heavy and you're drawing it on, you might want to try doing this instead, or if you're having a very difficult time with blending. I'm going to slowly slowly build this up on my cheeks and the rest of my face. You can kind of see it start to come in and create dimension to the face, but I'm hardly putting any product down, like such a small amount. And then in any areas where I just feel like I want to build it up a little bit more, I'm putting down a small amount so that I can go back in a little bit later and build it up if I feel the need to."
WHY I changed my contour routine…again…
"I'm using Anastasia Fawn um we'll go back to Amber at some point so I'm press placing pressing at my ear and then blending up so this is going to kind of narrow this area a little bit and snatch this area so we're really going to Define that cheekbone but since this area is already so wide I can get away with contouring this to Define this part like the sharper part of my cheekbone the higher part of my cheekbone and also keeping this area light helps to balance the fact that my jawline is not like cut you know what I mean it goes back a little bit further so I'm focusing all of my contouring back a little bit it naturally kind of goes like this in this shape but I don't want to drag it down too far I don't want to bring it in too far focusing here okay I just want to make sure that it's blended but again I don't want to take it in too far because once I start taking product here it ends up dragging my face down it ends up making this area look too hollow um and less voluminous"

"I'm going to go in with my Contour now Anastasia Beverly Hills Fawn. My application is very very gentle, so holding my brush way back and I'm just padding, bouncing just bouncing with zero pull of the brush over the skin."
Glowy Makeup that STAYS PUT ALL DAY
"I use Anastasia Fawn, put that on the back of my hand. This is also very helpful for, like, it's cold in here and whenever it's cold my sticks tend to be just a little more tough, you know, so putting it on the back of your hand and then misting it can really help to kind of soften that formula so that it's a lot easier to blend."

"I'm going to be using my Anastasia Beverly Hills Fawn Contour Stick, which is a nice cool-toned color. It's not gray, but it is definitely cool-toned. It is what I typically use to contour my cheeks."

"I'm going to do some contouring I'm going to use Anastasia Fawn and then a little bit here, don't want this to look too hollow though."
Light Feminine vs Dark Feminie makeup
"I'm going to grab my Anastasia Beverly Hills Fawn Contour Stick. I'm going to use the exact same brush and for the dark feminine side I am going to pick up product using the brush and I'm going to really carve out this cheekbone, focusing it like halfway blending up into the bronzer. I'm making sure to blend a little bit but not taking it too far, kind of like focusing on that angle. I pat a little bit of this at the tail of that brow to create a little bit more of a feline lift to the eye, and then for the jawline, [...] I'm using a cooler tone which is really going to push this area back in space."
How to look gorg when you’ve been crying
"I'm going to use Anastasia Beverly Hills Fawn so once again I'm gonna use that same brush and I'm just going to pick this up straight from the stick and just a little refinement so anywhere where I just feel like oh I just want a leg pop a little, a little something right in here."
My current makeup faves & a lil secrettt 🙃
"I use Anastasia Beverly Hills Fawn as my contour color but I've always kind of found that like when I'm really trying to contour below my jawline it's still too warm. It's just like a it's still a little too warm."
i love makeup and i’m here to talk about it
"I've adjusted to Anastasia Beverly Hills Fawn as my contour. Someone suggested it and I was hesitant because I thought I remembered swatching it a long time ago. The way it's honest, it's very very similar to Fenty Matchstick and Amber, there's something a little different about it. It is a little, it's like a teeny bit warmer, so I don't love it for contouring my nose because it just ends up looking like a lot, like I don't know, just like a little too bronzy for that area. I just feel like it should be a slight, slightly more cool-toned. I am still experimenting with this like new nose contour which I will keep you posted on, but the color is so flattering for my skin tone overall and it just creates such a beautiful like shape to the face. So I do think that if you are very very, if you have pale skin, pale to light, it's worth checking out, like maybe going to a Sephora and swatch it."
How to achieve BRATNESS | Charli XCX Makeup
"I'm using my Anastasia Beverly Hills Fawn contour for my cheekbones. I try to create the essence of someone's makeup look while maintaining my technique for my face shape. I'm not trying to look extremely bronzy because I'm just trying to enhance and shape my face so that everything looks the way that I want it to. The jawline contour is kind of like a necessity for me right now."
How to look Glowy NOT Oily
"The Anastasia Beverly Hills Fawn is like a relatively matte stick so if you are a little bit more like on the oily side it's not going to be like so overwhelming um with moisture for your skin"
My Go To Makeup when I want to look FLAWLESS
"I'm going to be using Anastasia Fawn which has been my go-to Contour stick for my specifically for my cheekbones to make them pop. It's cool toned enough to really like carve out the cheekbone but it's not too warm, it's not too orange."

"I am still using my Anastasia Fawn to contour my cheekbones"
Em Rata’s hot and so are U
"Anastasia Fawn, I think I mixed this up with Amber with Fenty Amber a little while ago. I accidentally called it Amber, maybe I should go back to Amber. I don't know, I can't remember why somebody suggested that I use this but now I don't remember which one I like best. But anyway, this is very specific to my face. Contour is obviously the first thing that I go in with. I love this bronzer, the color is really nice. I've been actually meaning to check out some of the lighter colors but this one's so good."
If y’all need a go to makeup look THIS is the one. Just sayin.
"I'm going to contour using my Anastasia Beverly Hills Fawn Contour Stick."
Beyonce’s makeup is perfection
"Anastasia Fawn this is how I shape my face now. When I'm doing my cheekbones I am trying to do them slightly more lifted like a little bit, going in a much more of a sharp angle from like the very top of my cheekbone near my temple down."
nuh muh muddy makeup my guy
"I'm going to contour using Anastasia Beverly Hills. There are two very important things that you need to know to prevent this from happening. Number one is you need to make sure that the color of your product is going to work with your skin tone. There were products that I was using that were not as flattering on my skin tone. The problem is when you run into all three, if we're talking contour, bronzer, and blush, if all three of those are very jarring on your skin tone then you're gonna get muddiness just because it's not going to look correct. It's not going to look right on your skin. So number one is obviously going to be finding those colors that work well for your skin."
A ridiculously in depth explanation of Bronzer vs Contour
"The product that I like to use the most for my cheekbones is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Stick in the shade Fawn."
An earthquake hits LA while I'm doing my makeup 😳
"For my Contour I'm going to be using my Anastasia Fawn. It's kind of up to you whether or not you want to lay the product down like initially or pick it up with the brush to blend. If you're someone who has a difficult time with like applying too much product then you're probably going to want to use your brush to pick it up. I do both, but I am going to use just the tip of the brush to pick up a little bit of the product so that I'm not going in with too much."
Doja Cat's makeup + MY makeup brush 🙃
"I'm gonna use Anastasia Fawn because I haven't in a minute on door beard a little contour beard. I've been eating a lot of sugar so contour beard is necessary right now."
I'm SOOO sorry but this is the best makeup look ever
"Switching over to Anastasia Beverly Hills to do my cheekbones. Somebody told me that they're discontinuing Fawn so if you need to pick it up pick it up. I don't know if they're just discontinuing the stick in general or if they're coming out with new shades, but I just went and I bought two because they're discounted, so get them while you can. It's something that I really like to do. It's something I just can't live without."
