"I love this because it gives a really nice level of hydration. It plumps out the skin and just gives that juicy look to the complexion, but it doesn't add any weight either, which is why it's so amazing. They use a 5% concentration of hyaluronic acid, which is perfect. A lot of brands use just too much hyaluronic acid, which actually can dry out the skin. If you overdo it with hyaluronic acid, it has the opposite result to what you think it's going to. It's going to strip and it's going to dry. Using hyaluronic acid in low doses is the best way to maximize that hydration. And this really delivers. Altruist are one of the very best skincare brands out there. They do so much when it comes to charity and supporting people that don't have access to good skin care. They really try to keep their prices as low as possible so they're accessible to everyone. And the formulations are a plus. This is one of my favorites. And I use this as a moisturizer when my skin is super dry, as a hand cream all year round because it's super lightweight and just feels beautiful. And I always use this on those rough areas. For me, it's the elbows, the knees. This always, always delivers."

But it deserves a place because it's £23 and I honestly have always said sunscreen shouldn't be a luxury, it should be something that everyone can access. And Altruist are just such the good guys in this industry making that possible. I adore this. If you're going on holiday with your whole family, for £23 you've got an entire holiday's worth of sunscreen and it's a really really good product."

"This is the Altruist dermatologist face fluid. If anybody tells you that you have to pay more to get true broad spectrum protection, let me tell you this sunscreen has the highest level of UVA protection you will find certainly here in the UK in Europe, and I don't know of any other international brand that does higher highest amount of UVA protection and costs seven pounds. So you absolutely can do sky high protection on a budget. This is really nice, it's almost invisible on most skin tones. You shouldn't be able to see it. On me it's absolutely fine. I do know some other people that say it can be a little thick, it can leave a slight cast on some, so just bear that in mind. But honestly such a great affordable option, which is one of my all-time favorites."

"The Altruist Face Fluid Sunscreen SPF 50, which is about 14 bucks at K2 Beauty. This one's got five chemical filters and one mineral filter titanium dioxide for a total of six filters, pretty darn good. Fragrance free, alcohol free, great for dry, sensitive, and acne prone skin types, and it is water resistant. Obviously reapply after swimming, so don't forget to do that even if it's water resistant. Still, the more often you apply the better protection you're going to get."

"Altruist came out with a facial moisturizer that has shea butter and urea in it, and it's very good, I highly recommend it. It's free of fragrance, and this brand gives a portion of their proceeds to a charity that supports people living with albinism. Everything this brand has made has been top-notch. It's lightweight, and the consistency is not heavy or greasy, though if you have very sensitive skin, the urea might sting a little bit."
