"The Allies of Skin vitamin C, slightly more expensive but I love it. It's a blend of L-ascorbic acid and other forms of vitamin C that have to be converted on the skin by your skin's enzymes naturally, so it takes slightly longer to deliver but actually makes it better for sensitive skin if skin's irritated by vitamin C."

"This is so hydrating on the skin. It has a very nice unique texture and vitamin C, as you know, is a great ingredient to brighten the skin and also to protect your skin from pollution. It's a great antioxidant that I feel like a lot of people should incorporate. And because this uses a vitamin C derivative, it's a little bit more gentle than a pure form of vitamin C like ascorbic acid. The one great thing with derivatives is that you can pair these up with more ingredients without having to worry about conflicts. So because it has growth factors and peptides, then that serum can be used with this because this is a vitamin C derivative. And I love this. Not everybody can use vitamin C. Some people can't even use a vitamin C derivative, and these tend to be more gentle."

This is not that kind of formulation, which is why I really like it. It goes on much thicker but it kind of melts into your skin almost like an oil. I think it's beautiful. It is deeply hydrating. It is fabulous. I love it."
