Atobarrier 365 Hydro Essence.

This one is really nice because also it's so soothing, very supportive of your barrier, but not heavy and very hydrating and does contain this complex of ceramides and betaglucans that really helps to reinforce that barrier function while minimizing the irritation and really enhances that skin resilience."

"I really love the hydro essence in this line, too. And I do recommend this one. This is interesting because it is a little bit more thick in texture than the cream mist. This is an essence that you would pour out onto your hands. But it's more of like a gel meets a cream texture instead of that purely creamy milky texture. And so because there's that gel element, it's actually more hydrating, aka watery, more plumping for the skin with just a touch of skin softening, skin conditioning moisture that doesn't feel oily or greasy. I would recommend this for combo skin types, balanced skin types, maybe even some oily skin types. This could even replace a moisturizer product if you want something a little bit plumping, skin softening, but not greasy. But it's not offering max moisturization. Ingredients-wise, it lives up to the Atobarrier name here. They are using lab-made ceramides. We also have some squalane urea. There's a touch of lactic acid in here which is barrier supportive. And we do have cholesterol and a lot of amino acids."

"It has this softness, skin conditioning type of feel, but it doesn't have that real slip to it that feels very rich. It just sinks into the skin beautifully, hydrating and a little bit plumping because there's some body to this, and then the top of your skin is just going to feel very conditioned, very soft, but not greasy, not heavy, not overloaded. [...] It walks a really beautiful balance between hydration and light moisture with a nice plumping factor. It really fills your skin but it just doesn't weigh it down. This is going to be perfect for me and my combo skin come deeper spring when things are really warming up and into the summer as well, because with combo skin you need both, and that's exactly what this product provides: hydration and moisture. If you have combo skin this will be up your alley. If you have dry skin, just know it's not as rich as it might first appear based on the texture. There's a lot more hydration and lighter moisture to this than your eyes might tell you it has, so I don't know if it's going to be enough for dry skin. [...] If you have a balanced or normal skin type, you may enjoy this. [...] If you have oily skin, I don't think you need something like this quite honestly."

"The Hydro Essence really stuck out to me. This is definitely going to be that hydrating and moisturizing step in my skincare routine once it starts to get warmer. It's a really hydrating, really plump, almost gel cream like essence. It looks like it would be very thick and moisturizing when you get it out of the bottle, but there's such a hydration factor to this, such a gel-like quality and plumpness. There is a cream element to it, but the moisturization is actually really light, very airy. You just get a ton of hydration and plumpness and that skin softening, skin conditioning effect, and that kiss of moisture that's not greasy. There's no oil here, it doesn't feel slippery and rich and emollient and heavy. It's just that really light, breathable, non-greasy moisture. It looks thicker than it feels on the skin, but it just delivers a lot of hydration and a nice balancing."

"Estra also has an essence, they named it an essence but you can use it as a milky toner. I tested it with my other makeup artist friends and everybody loved it so much. It is basically medicine for your skin, not literally. You can pour it into a mist bottle, and if skincare totally confuses you, just spray this and apply a cream after. That is a whole tested routine."

"Step one is the hydro essence. I tested it with my makeup artist friends, who are really brutal critics, and everybody said this is even better than their moisturizer or cream, even though it's not as popular. They call it an essence but it's more like a thicker milky toner, so you can layer it like a toner, but you have to seal it with a serum. It's an amazing holy grail, I didn't find anything better than this. For dry skin it still works well, but it can evaporate because the skin underneath is so dry, so I seal it afterward."

"This is my holy grail, from their blue line. It can be a little heavy, it feels like a thick toner, more of a water type, and it is amazing for layering, especially for sensitive skin, I cannot use anything else. The annoying thing about combo skin is the T-zone gets oily but around the lips it is dry, so I put it on my whole face once, then for the second layer I only apply it to the dry zone, especially in winter season, and it works so well. But if you go outside in cool weather, the hydration can be gone."

"I would say this is the number one Estra product. Though it is named as a hydro essence, you can think of it just like a milky toner or serum. If you are oily, combo skin but dehydrated, please please please try this. For your type of skin, you can layer this two or three times on your skin and your skin loves it. Everyone knows Estra has amazing ingredients, but I feel like their cream and lotion are already heavy to layer, but this is great. They released a new toner, but I think nothing beats this. So this is like number one, number one, number one."
