"I'll definitely give this an S. All three of us makeup artists gave this an S. If you have dry, sensitive skin, or even if you're oily or combination and not that dry, it still works in winter, so why not. You don't have to put it on your whole face, mainly just the dry areas. It has no scent and contains cholesterol and ceramide, and it just restores your skin, so it's definitely worth it. I've used it for more than five years, and the reformulated version is even better."

"The reformulated Aestura felt a little too tacky and sticky for me. It didn't feel like it was settling fully into my skin. I was not a big fan of that reformulation. I don't think it's a bad product, I just don't personally love it and I'm salty about the reformulation. This cream right now would not perform for me in winter. It would be way too light."

"For me personally, it's not my favorite. The new formula is different, but it is still focused on strengthening up the skin barrier for sensitive or irritated skin. They are using some ceramide content here with lab-made ceramides, so they are not like super recognizable on the ingredients list. Ceramide content is fairly high on the ingredients list and then we also have some ceramide NP content in here. They are using some niacinamide which is a barrier strengthening ingredient."

"I would have given it a 9 out of 10, but I've updated my rating to reflect a 6 out of 10.
