What the gurus are saying

Many gurus praise PRP for visible results: boosting collagen, regrowing hair, softening under-eye hollowing, with the benefit of using your own blood (no allergic risk). However, results vary sharply from person to person, multiple sessions add up in cost, and any benefit fades without ongoing treatment. It works best if you're committed to repeating it.

“the other thing I'd consider is injections of PRP and these have been shown in many studies to promote hair growth now we do PRP injections in my office so it'd actually be pretty easy for me to get it done but I'm really hoping to avoid anything invasive even minimally invasive like PRP”

“in plated rich plasma therapy we take blood we put that in a machine centrifuge it and take the plated component and then inject that into the skin this plat Rich component contains a lot of growth factors which can actually stimulate the cells to make collagen this improves skin texture and also helps in improving the appearance of scars”

“for every person for which allegedly it works wonders so long as they continue to go and have the injections which tend to be expensive for every person that it works wonders there's one person who doesn't do jack squat and then there's another person whose hair continues to worsen despite doing that”

“I have loved this treatment for my under eyes. I've never used filler in my under eyes. I have been very vocal about this because the under eyes are a very tricky area and you have to be the right candidate. Given that I do inject myself, I cannot see myself with filler here and it's easier to do PRP or PRF. So, I get that done on myself maybe twice a year for my under eyes.”

“I was doing Reneuva injections, which stimulates fat growth, like your own fat cells, but that's like a long process. It can be a little bit pricey. Not saying that I wouldn't do it again because I really enjoyed that, but this just felt like an easy way to go in there, smooth out those ligaments, smooth out any of the hollowing that you could kind of see.”

“And this has gotten really popular because it can offer great results depending on the individual and helping to kind of boost that thin underey skin, camouflaging kind of that dark circle from vasculature, stimulating collagen, but you're not going to really have to worry about migration because you're injecting your own blood back into the area.”

So it's almost kind of like you know taking yourself to heal yourself and it's it's amazing results.”

“I actually just um had PRP done to my face and prf and so that was a first for me because I thought what is healthier than putting my own blood and getting it spun back into my body rather than putting some foreign substance right”

“I am noticing that my under eye Hollows are returning after my filler from a couple of years ago and my prf treatment has kind of worn off I'm going to probably get another prf treatment I'm sort of debating whether I will or whether I won't I'm still very happy with the under eye area the way it came out but it is slightly diminishing now that the filler is slightly receding and the pr is where prf is wearing off”
