"This one is a more lightweight fluid texture that is loose enough for it to run down my hand. It definitely does blend out quicker and easier than the original formula. Once again, there is no white cast once blended out. The finish is slightly less mattifying in my opinion with a bit more sheen and reflectiveness. I actually feel like the gel formula feels more moisturizing and more comfortable on my dry skin compared to the original formula that is alcohol-free. Although it is still very much on the low end of the glowy dewy finish scale. If you want something that takes a little less time to blend out and apply evenly, I would say the gel is definitely easier to work with than the original cream formula. It did also work totally fine underneath makeup. I personally would probably reach for this one more for the body since it is a bigger bottle, easier to apply quickly, and it still is going to have some of that mattifying finish, so you can still avoid that tackiness that your arms and stuff might get from some sunscreens."

"First time I applied this, I was honestly quite surprised because although ethanol is high on the list, it does have quite a plush medium-bodied texture that is not that common with Japanese sunscreens. It is very easy to apply and blend out, and it certainly does not have any white cast. After initial application it has a bit of a dewy finish, but it settles to a more velvety skin-like finish. Over time it keeps my skin feeling very comfortable, not overly greasy, but definitely not dry even for my dry skin. It sits well underneath makeup with no peeling or bunching. The overall vibe of this sunscreen is like a moisturizing K-beauty cream sunscreen, but make it waterproof because a lot of K-beauty sunscreens are not waterproof whereas J-beauty sunscreens are. This one has taken the best aspects of K-beauty and J-beauty sunscreen and put them in one. Personally, it was great for my dry skin, but I feel like combo skin people would absolutely love it."

"It's a two-in-one product with vitamin C, glutathione, niacinamide, and PHA for gentle exfoliation, so the formula looks great on paper, but it has a sticky, stretchy texture with chunks that is messy and difficult to wash off. For my dry and sensitive skin, it's too harsh to use daily—I use it only about once or twice a week for a deep clean. I enjoy it slightly more as a mask left on for 3-5 minutes, but it still leaves my skin feeling dry afterward and requires a hydrating follow-up. All those brightening ingredients seem wasted in a product you just wash off, and the texture is not user-friendly. For someone with oily or combination skin you would absolutely love this, but for me it's definitely not something I would purchase again. It's a miss."
