"This foundation has a solid shade range for deeper skin with good undertone options. The coverage is full and it truly lasts all day without breaking down or oxidizing. It handles hyperpigmentation really well and doesn't budge through heat or humidity. The formula is buildable without getting cakey. It does have a more matte finish, so if you want something ultra dewy, this isn't it. But for long lasting, reliable coverage, this delivers."

"I could not be more disappointed in a brand if I tried to be. I'm genuinely, feel really, really gutted. E.l.f is a brand that I have personally worked with, been to events with, have had contracts with, and really love their products. Like, genuinely. I would recommend them all the time. But E.l.f was a brand that kind of showed up in spaces that mattered to people. They did charity work, they spoke out on a lot of things. And to see something like this happen is very annoying. I could use any other eye cream and it will give me more hydration and more moisture than this. I am so disappointed with the ingredients in there, the vitamins, everything it claims to have and do. It is not good. If you are looking for more moisture, if your concealer creases easily because of the lack of moisture, if you are crepey under the eye, this is not it. This is not going to help you in any way. It's far, far too quickly absorbed."

You put it on, it's like why does it feel like I'm sweating? Like you actually come out in a sweat."

"Even if you don't have anything else underneath or I've tried it with other things underneath, it feels like your face is instantly sweating. Like, you get this kind of cold wetness to the face, and it's like, why am I sweating even though I'm not moving? There is no way, as somebody with oily but also dehydrated skin, this would be great under my foundation. It's too rich. It's too hydrating. If an oily person asked me if they should use that product, I'd be like, absolutely not. It's way too much. It's way too hydrating. It's a lot. One hundred percent use this on drier skin, because it is vitamin enriched and it does make a nice base on some skins. But on oily skin, I'm not convinced anyone with oily skin would work with this. If we use something that's enriched and super over hydrating, we might as well just do our makeup and then throw grease all over our face and be done with it. It just won't work for us. It might be a great product for some people. Mature skin, it will be beautiful. Dry skin, it will be lovely. Maybe skin that's a little bit more eczema prone. Oily skin, greasy skin? You're gonna put this, what feels like I've never had it where I put it on and it hasn't felt like I've put something wet on my face."

"Vaseline has no staying power. It's not a product that's made to hold anything, keep anything. It's slippery. It slips. You put Vaseline on your lips and it ends up down here eventually. Especially under mascara, this is a recipe for disaster. It is going to be so messy. Vaseline doesn't act differently on your lashes than it does your skin. It isn't a different formula. It just sits on top of stuff. So there's no reason why Vaseline would have any curling power or staying power in terms of your lashes. Absolutely none. Oily eyelids already melt our makeup. And if you're not using an eyeshadow primer, that oil can transfer into your lashes, to your bottom lashes. That oily slippery formula is not good around the eye area. If you want longevity of your makeup, if you want your mascara to last a long time, your eyeliner to last a long time, you don't want to put anything slippery or greasy or oily."

"Fenty Beauty, in my opinion, has reached iconic status in the beauty world. It's up there with all the best, the greats. They came into the beauty industry not with a 'we're a new brand' kind of energy, but the energy like, 'we are a brand and we have done it better than everyone else. We're here to take over. We're setting the new standard.' But it does feel like recently, Fenty hasn't been making the big, huge splashes like they used to do in the beauty world, not just online but also offline. It kind of seems like people have lost a bit of interest or just perhaps they aren't gravitating towards the brand with as much excitement as they used to. I have huge respect for Fenty as a brand. It can also make all these different products one product, for example, if you want to make an eyeshadow into a lipstick, or an eyeshadow into mascara. You can mix it in with foundation if you wanted to. There are different bases, water based, alcohol based, airbrushing ones. These are products that do absolutely work. However, for this individual product only, as a tint, you have to use so little and it stains so quickly. I don't think anyone is going to get through this whole thing anyway. It says 1000 plus applications per stick. Before I use this a thousand times, it's probably going to expire even this small amount. It is kind of a shock to wind it up and see this. It's also so messy. These do stain. The color has really set into those areas. With the prep for your lips, I would still use something underneath. I don't think I'm going to use it on my lips in the future."

"It just sets so, so fast with a finger. The way it's advertised to go on the skin, I just think it looks like a rash, on me anyway. If you have quite a few blemishes or marks from shaving, or blemishes like that, and you don't want them to be extra obvious, I wouldn't use this on bare skin. I'm not a fan of it on bare skin. In fact, I think it looks terrible on my bare skin. But I love it on top of foundation. In terms of removal, it does come off quite easily with an oil based makeup remover. Oil really does break it down. I would recommend it to anyone over foundation, on top of your foundation. If you're already happy with your blush or a tint that you have, I wouldn't rush out to buy it. It's not anything extra special. It's just something new."

"I wouldn't use this on bare skin. I'm not a fan of it on bare skin. In fact, I think it looks terrible on my bare skin. But I love it on top of foundation. In terms of removal, this is an oil based makeup remover. It does come off quite easily. Oil really does break it down. I would recommend it to anyone over foundation. On top of your foundation. If it's a liquid foundation, I think it looks great. I think it's a fun product. If you're happy with your blush or tint already, I wouldn't rush out to buy it. It's not anything extra special. It's just exciting, just something new. It's gimmicky you could say, yes, I like gimmicky. I quite like it because it's gimmicky. I like the packaging."

We're going for the basics. And I feel like we need to see something exciting again because they're going to get boring, they're going to get stale, they're going to get stagnant. And I feel like nobody is interested in the brand as much as they used to be. The packaging is cute, it's a cute concept of a brand. But it's that thing of a brand releasing what every other brand does and it's kind of becoming a bit copycat like or a bit like, oh, we have to do this. We have to do this."

"The brand actually looked really exciting. I quite like its like 60s, 70s-esque vision of space. And one of the lipsticks is really cute. It looks like it's like a little lipstick looking out a peep hole of like a spacesuit. However, the products, don't get me wrong, there's some good products in there, in the brand. But a lot of the stuff again, is quite chalky. It's not so great. A lot of reviewers online also agree in terms of, there's good and bad, there's bad and good, there's chalky and not chalky. And it's not the best brand ever."

"r.e.m Beauty is good in comparison. It's not great, but it's good. I wasn't expecting much from the brand when it came to complexion products, but I was very, very pleasantly surprised with the concealer. It sat really nicely under the eyes. It looked beautiful. It looked like skin. It also has a great shade range, including a black and white that are made for shade mixing. They're not pretending they're skin tones. And their satin matte blush powders are beautiful, really, really nice on the skin. Again, great shades. They just sit really nicely on top of makeup, on top of foundation. They just do what a blush should do."

"This is £49. When I first bought this in store, I shade matched and I had the person to help me shade match in store. It looked fine. I got home yellow. So yellow. I usually buy one or two others around it. But for almost £50, I don't want to go around guessing. However, I did exactly that. I bought two more other shades just to get my shade right. And I wish I never did because I do not like this foundation one bit. Now I'm oily. This foundation does say skin types. This foundation is for normal, oily, combination, dry. This foundation is meant to be for everyone. When I tell you this is like grease on my face, right? It's not just hydrating to me. It's not just a little bit like, oh, serum, you expect hydration. You expect moisture. This does not blend into my face one bit. This sits on top of my skin to a point where I can get my fingernail and do this and it will leave like a line. And no, foundation shouldn't do that. You should be blending your foundation so much that it's just pushed into the skin. Initially when I put it on, I really really like the formula. I love the finish. It feels really kind of like weightless on the skin. And I was actually kind of surprised at the coverage you get from it. I think it's a really beautiful coverage. I really do. But what I do find a lot about the Pat McGrath palettes is that only half the palettes are exciting. You have some nice colors here, but not such a great moment down here. They're very pricey considering the choice of what you get. More often than not, when I do see a new launch for a Pat McGrath palette, they look very samey. The How To Use on their website says to apply a thin layer onto clean dry lips on alternate evenings, allow the product to dry, apply lip balm as needed throughout the day. But I was confused. Do I use a lip balm afterwards? That wasn't clear on their website. However on their Instagram it says layer it under their Squalene + Amino Acids Lip Balm to help retain moisture overnight. Why is that not a direction on your website or on the product itself?"
