"Is it just me, or none of these look matte? They look metallic, more like shimmer. They do look beautiful though, and I like these kinds of products because they neutralize the lid and work as a great base. But I haven't been excited by anything from Makeup by Mario for a while, these look absolutely fine, but I'm not overly jumping out my seat to buy or try, and I don't think you need to spend $25 to get a metallic long-lasting base on your eyelid."

"I've been using their brow gel. Incredible, insane, amazing. They are tinted slightly, but it's not so much where you get [...] the color on your skin or anything like that. [...] This is a black one, you'll see it's not black black. [...] It's just like a tinted gel. You can actually run your finger over this gel and it does not move. I've done an 18-hour flight wear test for this brow gel where I sleep in it, wear an eye mask, all this stuff, and it lasts throughout the whole thing. It is really really really strong. So I would absolutely recommend it."

"This is their eyeshadow palette, which is this one. It doesn't look very exciting, but it could be. I like a beige. This is a beautiful color. The formula feels very different to what they did before with the eyeshadows, remember those colorful ones. This definitely feels a lot smoother and a lot more pigmented. This is beautiful and this gray is lovely. I love this gray, a gray like this. I really really like this eyeshadow palette. I've done something quite cold here, but you can look at the other shades, you can actually do some quite warm, a little bit deeper and smokier."

"The formula is beautiful, really really good. It blends incredibly well. The brush is really, really great, it's a really great blending brush and this small little detail brush inside. Is it exciting as a palette? No, not really. But I think it's beautiful for those of us who love makeup, who love the industry, who love a classic. If you are in the market for Urban Decay's first ever Naked Palette, I would 100% recommend it. Would I [...] have purchased this initially? No, but that's because I'm going off this buying eyeshadow palette situation because I have so many and I don't need anymore. But I'm happy I own it because the palette itself is beautiful and the formula is beautiful."

"It's like someone lay down a white powder in each pan and then coughed the color into it. This on deeper skin tones, even the ones made for deeper skin tones, terrible. Ashy, dusty, volcanic mess. I do not like it. I think these palettes are awful. Even the powders themselves. When I bought them and I was like, I'm not going to use these on people. I tried to use one on myself. Dry. The dryness of them. People love it, but I just think it looks ashy on people. It looks like powder, which I know is a crazy thing to say. You can almost see the powder particles on the skin. I do not like these. I don't know why they're so expensive and I don't know why they are so loved. Horrible, horrible."

"I'm so over Anastasia Beverly Hills. They are so boring. New and improved Micro Stroke Detailing Brow Pen with 24 hour wear a long wearing micro fine detailing pen to create realistic hair-like strokes for full defined brows with a natural finish that lasts up to 24 hours. At this point I'm like, so? So? You and everyone else. Not interested in the slightest. They're known for their brow products, right? Yes, we get it. Keep doing your brow thing. Keep doing what made you famous. But also look at you. You're not doing well. This is boring. Is it practical? Sure. Yeah, that's really practical. Very practical. And I actually like that the tones are kind of like an ashier tone and not so red. So for the people with fairer skin tones and fairer hair, you're not going to have a red eyebrow for absolutely no reason. I just, it's just like boring. I do like, however, I have to say that it comes with a brush on the end. A lot of brow pens don't come with a brush on the end. And sometimes you do just want to blend out that little bit, that little patch where maybe you've pressed too hard."

"Some people may not wear purple every day. [...] The packaging has that soft matte, plasticky feel, not fingerprinty, doesn't keep hold of fingerprints. There's a mirror on the inside and eight colours inside. I have to admit, these purples are a lot more muted than I expected from looking at some of the pictures. The blues are very, very vibrant, crazy vibrant. One of the deeper blues reminds me of Electric Eel from MAC in terms of that vibrancy [...] and pigmentation, so that's a good one. There are [...] different textures in here: you have a 3D matte, which is an innovative cream to powder..."

"It is an eyebrow pen. Some brow pens, I find the formula gets absorbed into my brow product, and then it looks draggy and jaggy in the brows and it just doesn't look good. Whereas I found this one is very, very smooth. The reason I'm not going to be buying it again isn't because I don't like it. It's because I found something that I actually think performs better, that is of a drugstore price. I use my Glossier pen and I just found it slightly too thick to really give me that real, sharp lines, sharp brow hairs in a bald area."

"I haven't been a fan of Natasha Denona but if this is the same silky matte formula, I will get this because it is a beautiful formula, beautiful textures. I would have to look a little bit more into it and see if it's a similar formula to the mattes from other palettes and maybe swatch it a few times but I'm leaning more towards liking Natasha Denona than I did. I'm such a sucker for beige nude neutral multi-purpose palettes, and this on fair skin as a contour is stunning. At the end of the day it is just a nude palette and I feel like we've seen nudes from Natasha Denona and I do actually have palettes like this in a five pan from other brands."

"These are from Lisa Eldridge. These are the liquid silk liquid eyeshadows. These come in some stunning nude tones. These are like the ultimate no makeup makeup eyeshadows. There are some deeper browns and stuff like that that you can build up to give yourself that smokier eye. I want you to take this dusky purple, Ione, I believe I'm pronouncing that right, which is like this mauvy gray tone, cold lilac almost. And Gaia, which is like a brown that has some bronzy warmth to it."

"This feels like a different formula to the top one. This feels a little bit drier. It feels a little bit more like, oh, that's like a shimmer. Like, you can feel the shimmer. Whereas this feels like when you use a multi chrome and it's just like, wet. That's what this one feels like. This one feels different. This feels like, oh, it's a bit shimmery, it's a bit shiny. Whereas this feels like, yes, I would pay 42 for this. This feels different to the first one. They feel really, really nice. They feel like they glide quite well. A few things that I'm a little bit like, hmm, is they were kind of swatched in like a lower light situation or showed off in a lower light situation. And I feel like if you have a product, unless it's like a UV product where it has to be under UV light, I feel like if it looks good but only in lower light, it's not that great an option. This is so beautiful, though. It is a really beautiful shade. This just looks wet. It really does look really beautiful. Looking at that and it's not any more impressive than any other eyeshadow I would use."

"The texture kind of feels a bit more stickier, almost like it has a built in grip. However, I do actually prefer the smoothness of the MUA side. This looks a bit chunky and actually gross on my eyelids, a little bit patchy, because it is chunkier in terms of the formula. It does give more of a textured look on the lid. So if you do have an eyelid that is a little bit more naturally textured and you're not into that, it might not be the best for you, might not be the best formula."

"Hourglass Ambient Light Highlighter palettes, right? Dusty, crusty, fusty on anyone. Hourglass isn't a brand that I like to talk about on my social media. I just think they don't do well in terms of inclusivity, in terms of color options, all that kind of stuff. And it's my choice and my decision to not support them to that extent, where I would be like, oh, these products are really nice, which I'm definitely not going to say right now. These are $66 bear in mind for these palettes, the small ones."

"I've never been so interested in a mascara in my life. This is from Refy. The Lash Sculpt creates sculpted, lifted, lengthened lash for all day lift. All day lifted hold with a unique curved comb-like applicator that is designed to target each lash, separating and lengthening them. I love the shape of this brush. I think this is really, really cool. Having the longer part on the outside and the shorter on the inside is going to ensure that in the inside area here, it's not over clumping. Not too much product has been applied in that area. But also, you're going to get this almost 3D-esque lash. You're going to get more application to the outside corner. So it's going to lift, curve. But I think it's such a cool design for a brush, and I would actually be really interested in buying that."

"This is the Tower 28 Make Waves Mascara. I do have a lash lift, so my lashes were already curled. So what you see me applying right now is kind of the level of makeup that I am comfortable with when it comes to doing a really kind of natural, fresh look for every day without using the Demi Method. So this is kind of my everyday, just getting out the door and looking my best."

"My first ever naked palette was the Naked 3 eyeshadow palette that my fiancé got for me. And it was my prized possession. When I was doing bridal makeup, I would take it out my kit and sit there like it was some kind of, like, golden egg. Yes, I have a Naked palette. And I still have it today. Not in my kit, but I keep it for sentimental value. These palettes, as the name suggests, naked, featured, like, a selection of neutral shades. And they all had a kind of, like, rough theme around them in terms of the main color. To have these Naked palettes and to have them stack nicely and all work together and be all slightly different in a way, revolutionary."

"If you haven't tried this pencil, you have to try it. They have the smoothest, creamiest texture. They glide on with ease, but they are so, so pigmented, and they last a really, really long time. So if you want a good pencil for the waterline, they're the ones to go for. [...] This liner became a staple, not just for everyday consumers, but makeup artists would be adding it to their kits. [...] It was a really good product and showed up all the other kind of eye pencils at the time."

"I'll tell you something about the liquid eyeshadow. This is the pencil. I was very surprised to see it was this light blue. It has this little twisty bit, it does twist up, and it has a sharpener underneath. Again, the light blue was a bit of a surprise. Swatching it on the hand, it did give off a lot of pigment, which is always good for a pencil. However, when it came to wearing it, not so much. When I first tried r.e.m Beauty, I had a lot of trouble with these, I really, really did, and I did this time around. I actually went to go and use this on a look, but it's not included in this video because this sat so poorly on my lids that I had to take everything off. I wish it would work because it's stunning, this shade is beautiful, maybe by itself, but if you have, God forbid, any creases on your lids, don't even try it."

"The texture of the shadows is pretty nice. [...] It has a softness to it. It looks almost velvety. [...] One issue I've had with Flower Knows previously is that I found some of their products weren't very well pigmented. So I'm kind of happy with how these are, considering their pastel shades. They are coming out with a good amount of pigment. The [...] middle shade is very, very soft. [...] There's a little bit of fallout in terms of the shimmer and the color, but I did go on with big, fluffy brushes, and obviously they don't hold on to product as well. So of course it's gonna be a little bit of fallout."

"This is the Merit volumizing Pomade. Any brow gel you need to get in there, you need to get to the root, you need to be digging down. Get to the root of that brow and brush it up. See how much bigger and fluffier my brows look? And that's going to give you a better hold over time. It's really filled in my brows. You don't just do the tips and think I want it to hold here. You try and get to the root, right to the base. You want to grip it right at the root."

"You can use them as a topper, just put it on top of your eyes every single day. You have more yellows, you have more deeper coppers. You can do a whole look by itself or just use them sporadically. I'm just going to use the shades to define the socket, add a little bit of a shine and glow to the lid. The formula is so smooth, there's no going wrong. You can do like one or two passes with this, or you can go extra and do loads and loads of glitter. Notice how none of it's falling on my face. It's not flying around everywhere in the air. It's just this really beautiful, controlled formula."

"Look how long and lengthened my lashes. This looks like false lashes. The wand is basically a two-step brush. I'm taking the curved side and I'm going root to tip and coating the lashes, and then once you've done that you flip the brush to the side and you use the hook comb to basically separate. I'm gonna add a second coat, look at the length. I am speechless and I'm not sure anyone's gonna ever be able to compete with this mascara."

"I absolutely love, love, love these. These are really, really super, super affordable, but have amazing pigment. You see? Just with one little swoop. Look how incredible that is. They're so easy to blend as well. You don't need to be like an expert blendstress. I love these shadows so much. The pigmentation is just like, you can buy a little collection of these and have like a whole palette for less than what you can buy a whole palette for with a very similar quality finish."

"These eyeshadows are absolutely stunning. The textures blend so incredibly well—they're super blendable, and if you're terrible at blending eyeshadow, I really don't think you're going to have an issue with this. The shade range reaches everybody. There's thought behind it, reasoning for the textures and their benefits, and even the compact itself with interchangeable colors has good reasoning. When I love an eyeshadow palette, it's because I've loved using it and it's giving me no grief. These are absolutely top of my list for eyeshadows."

"This is a really beautiful powder. This is a powder I use in my makeup kit, not my work kit because it works for everyone of all skin types. Beautiful, stunning. Love it. Some people think it's overhyped. I think it's regular hyped. I think it's worth the hype. It is quite a pricey powder to be honest with you. It's available in two sizes. I like that. A mini and a full size. It instantly corrects redness, hydrates, and improves the skin barrier. I wouldn't describe it as ultra blurring though."

"I saw Bobbi Brown's Vitamin Enriched Face Base, which I hate on my skin. It makes me feel like I'm sweating. It's far too rich. It's way too much for my oily skin. Even in the dehydrated areas, it just sits on top of my skin. It never absorbs or anything like that, which kind of tells me that it's way too much for my skin. [...] It's just way too much for my skin. [...] You put it on, it's like why does it feel like I'm sweating? Like you actually come out in a sweat."

"The formula itself isn't that rich, kind of like we're used to. It's absorbed already. That's gone. That's not what I want. [...] It feels dry on my skin. It has shea butter, squalene, vitamin E. You're telling me it's going to plump and smooth? It doesn't have time to because it's absorbed straight into my skin. I'm so disappointed in this product. I really, really wanted something as it is described, as that richness, that smoothness. [...] I could use any other eye cream and it will give me more hydration and more moisture than this. I am so disappointed with the ingredients in there, the vitamins, everything it claims to have and do. It is not good. [...] I think it'll be good if you don't need that excessive moisture, if you just want something that kind of helps to hydrate the area ever so slightly. But if you are looking for more, it's not going to deliver that."

"This is the NYX Wonder Snatch Lifting Setting Powder. [...] As a powder, this is a beautiful powder. It's lightweight. It sits really, really well. It doesn't feel as heavy and as dense as a lot of baking powders or setting powders. [...] The smoothness it leaves on the skin, that silky like gentleness in application I'm a huge, huge fan of. It's so soft, so smooth and lightweight. Blends so well into the skin. [...] This is very much a go to powder for me now. I just got rid a lot of my other powders just to use this one."

"This just feels like it makes my skin bouncy. It feels like it makes it smooth. I feel like it isn't just sitting on top of my skin. A lot of primers do feel like that, [...] but this one feels more like skin care. It's not to replace any of your skincare, but it feels more like skincare. So if you are looking for a good drugstore primer, this is definitely one I would recommend. I have oily dehydrated skin, and I really like this on me. [...] Even if you are dry, this is going to be really good for you as well because of the texture it leaves your skin. [...] It all feels and looks the same, and that's how I want to prep my skin."

"If this is just a mist that gives you a nice glow, beautiful. However, if it's a mist that gives you that instant shine and you can't really control the level of shine, the level of glow, then I'm a little bit suspicious. Being a makeup artist, this is something I would be drawn to. Being an everyday consumer, not so much. And also, $38, almost $40 for a mist. One layer is still quite intense. I wonder how it looks with a powder on top."

"The Iconic London Velvet Smooth Pore Refining Primer is really great. It's more like a white cream. It's not like that clear, kind of gimmicky, siliconey liquid silicone. It's a little bit more of a face cream. Very thin on the skin. It doesn't feel powdery, it doesn't feel strange. You can just see it mattified and it feels more like skincare. It just feels like it becomes part of the skin, over something like Porefessional which kind of just feels like it sits on top. This is great if you are super, super oily, not just a little bit oily. This might dry you out a little bit. But I would go for something like this. It doesn't feel like there's a layer of something on top."

"I do really love the One/Size Powder Melt Glass Setting Spray. I use that one in this step when I'm going to events. It's [...] more of an alcohol spray, so I would just do enough that my face feels covered. I don't want to wet my face completely, because then you can run into some texture, like some dry texture. The product might sit in your brows, it might sit in your lashes, facial hair, you know, so."

"I don't like silicone based mattifying primers. I can't stand them. So this is the Easy Blur Silicone Free Smoothing Pore Minimizing Primer. It retails for around £30, $30 depending where you are. I really have to give them credit for this texture. It is that mattifying visual, instant visual effect without being that horrible, slippery siliconey texture that you get from a product like Porefessional, for example. I really do think it looks nice alone on the face. Do I think my skin looks overwhelmingly smooth, pore free? Not really. I don't think it does. I think my skin looks fine. But I still feel I look quite porous, especially on the middle of my face on my forehead."

"Hydro Grip really love as well. So hydro grip is going to be the opposite from the pore eclipse. It's got dewy finish with hyaluronic acid. Hydro Grip Primer is a hydrating primer that boosts hydration with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide. Both help your makeup go on smoother, look better, and last up to 12 hours. As an oily person, I don't want my skin to be greasy or shiny, but I do like to have a glow. So something like this might be a little bit more of a physical texture on the skin."

"I know this is a really lightweight powder. And yes, there are some extremely lightweight powders where in the shade range there's maybe five, six, but this still isn't great. These two could be the same. There needs to be more here. I don't like that shade range really. And these other shades that says it fits on, I'm looking at this bottom one here and then looking at the model on the end here with the deeper skin tone. I just can't imagine that looking any way good on her. And then same with this here, this shade with this person on the end. Not really a fan of that."

"This is hairspray in a can, not just the smell and not necessarily even the ingredients, but let me explain myself, right. The smell of this first up [...] is like hairspray. It smells just like Elnett. You know when a really, like, classy person walks past and they just reek of Elnett, you're like, yeah, that's what that smells like. Not only that, it's not the best, really, at holding on your foundation. [...] The way this sits on the skin is exactly how I would imagine a layer of hairspray to sit on the skin. Like, you can't breathe. You can't breathe. [...] Look, first of all, [...] you can see it leaves this shiny, almost like scaly. Like, you can see where it is. [...] And it's still hanging around."

"I'm going to use a little bit of the Huda Beauty Cherry Blossom Cake Easy Bake powder. It says easy bake, but you know me, we're not baking. This is one thing that I think is going to go out of style is baking. I think that over excess powder situation is like overdue leaving this world. I'm tapping excess off on the back of my hand because I can come back and get the excess. And I'm not leaving powder on my face. I'm not letting it sit. I'm literally going to tap it into what's already there and make sure it's completely tapped in. Part of my makeup, I don't want it sitting on top of my makeup."

"Real Techniques took both technologies and combined them into one sponge. This might be the best makeup tool ever invented. It's called the Real Techniques Miracle 2-in-1 Powder Puff. I love how this side just really packs everything in. There's more space. The reason why this side works better for powders than this side is because the little fuzzy fibers picks up the powders better and it sets it better as well. So instead of juggling back and forth between the liquid foundation with this sponge and then the powder with this sponge, you just need one. Two sides gets the job done. This is the best new makeup tool. You need this."

"The Vieve one is so much nicer. [...] Although it isn't translucent, it almost has a translucence to it where you can see my skin a little bit more underneath, whereas on the Rimmel side, it looks a little bit more like makeup. It looks like powdery makeup. And considering it has kind of less coverage, I believe it's meant to have less coverage in that Vieve one. It doesn't seem as like that. It looks like it definitely has some kind of coverage going on."

"The E.L.F. Poreless Putty Primer is made to help smooth out skin texture, pores, and things like that. What she does is warm up the product, which is a great thing to do with makeup and foundation. When you're rolling and pressing, you're pushing that product onto the skin, keeping it in place, and therefore achieving a more smoother look on the skin, on the nose, any larger pores. It's a really really good technique."

"Two of my favorites are the e.l.f. Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray. The reason I really like these is because they are like setting sprays, but they're more a hydrating mist. They are more skin care-like. So it's not a setting spray like a full, intense theatrical setting spray where your face is going to feel like it has a layer or something solid on it. They are more hydrating to the skin. If my face is feeling a little bit dry, a little bit dehydrated, and I'm also a bit oily, a spray like this is going to give you like a bounciness to your skin. The reason I love this one is because it gives you a similar result to a hyaluronic acid setting spray."

"These are the new liquid matte mousse soft blurring lip creams from Huda Beauty. I love the felt tip, it grips more to that matte texture and helps you smooth it down and move it around a little bit better, it doesn't feel heavy, it doesn't feel drying, it doesn't feel overly matte, it actually feels soft and velvety. But it's not the most forgiving to a drier lip, and trying to layer it with itself is quite difficult, it gets a little patchy in some areas. When I used a darker shade that really stands out on the skin, there seemed to be a little bit of trouble with it either sitting down on the lip or gripping to the lip. I'm not a fan. That's going to be a dump for me, I'm afraid."

"These Fresh Kiss Glossy Balms come in the Daybreak and Moonlight set inspired by Eevee, Espeon and Umbreon. The Eevee coconut cream one smells heavily like coconut, which usually reminds me of shampoo, but this doesn't taste shampoo-y, it's more like a coconut cake, and it's actually a really nice shade, I really like it. The Espeon taro milk tea one is okay, but it tastes burnt, I love the taste of taro milk tea and this isn't that, though the color is nice. The Umbreon brown sugar boba one tastes very tapioca heavy, which is usually a taste I like, but not the way ColourPop has done it. These are just lip balms so we're not going to get full color, which is a little bit disappointing because on their website the shades look incredible."

"This is Laneige's Lip Sleeping Mask, but not just their normal one, this is their overnight treatment mask that you can custom make for yourself, mixing your own scent blend, for twenty eight dollars. I made my own with blue cream soda and sweet [...] candy and it's just so amazing. [...] It's such a cool opportunity to be able to mix your own and make your own, and they last a really really long time and they really help hydrate your lips. These are absolutely beautiful, [...] it's a really fun experience and the balms themselves are stunning."

"These are the limited edition high shimmer gloss sticks in the shade Caviar Crystals, a shimmering holographic black. That looks really good, that's the kind of shade I would get, this is something I would like to own. I do feel like I've seen other swatches for it and it hasn't been that dense in color, it's just a little bit sheer, but I do like their gloss balm products, I think they're really really nice. Fenty lip products in general are so, so stunning, especially their neutrals, if you get something neutral to your skin tone they always look really stunning."

"I was really looking forward to trying this. [...] It's meant to give you a lip line and a lip balm in the middle at the same time, [...] with a deeper shade and a lighter shade. Last time I used it the intended way, but this time I used it more in an ombre style, darker in the middle fading to lighter, the way [...] I like to do my lips. [...] My issue is that it's all the same texture, the darker shade is too balmy [...] and glossy when it's meant to define the lip almost like a liner, and a lip liner shouldn't be glossy or glowy, [...] it needs to be matte or at least semi-matte. It's okay, it's personal taste, and I do like the dark-into-light look."

"It says it doesn't feather or fade. These are $28. When these originally came out, they came out in quite intense colors. I think there was an orange, a bright pink, and a bright red. And I said in my review, I was like, please bring out nudes, because these are really great. I was like, there's no way you're gonna have this shine for hours and hours and hours. It lasts, this shine lasts. I love this. And I love that they have these nudish tones. Sheer sienna, sheer blush, and sheer petal. But even the top shades here, especially that deeper one, that mahogany, give these beautiful lacquered looks. I just love those. The shades look great, and that color suits absolutely everybody. And I love that sheer blush. Sheer sienna. That's magic. I really want them. I'm gonna put them in at number two. They could be my number one."

"Can I just talk about this Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment? I know people were [...] really overhyping this, but [...] the smell is like this banana, desserty smell on the lips. I put this on overnight and when I wake up in the morning, it's still on my lips. I can feel this hydrated region in my mouth. Usually I'm putting on a night mask hoping that I wake up in the morning with the most plump, smooth lips, but this has been incredible. [...] I think it's a new formulation, which I kind of want to explore a little bit more."

"This is super high shine, long lasting with this spatula-like applicator. The dense and thick high molecular gel creates a coating layer for long lasting color. This gloss actually did incredibly well over on TikTok. People loved the applicator, they loved the gloss. It really gives that gel-like, full bodied gloss, no stickiness. It's just that high shine. You have made a product that is the same kind of base, that gel base so you get that shine."

"So they describe it as a gentle chemical-based lip exfoliater, with 5% polyhydroxy acids. It's meant to smooth and hydrate the lips. [...] I used it for a while every other day and it didn't do anything to my lips. Nothing changed at all. In fact my lips are drier. [...] It didn't even keep them to their normal level of crustiness or non-crustiness. Also the directions weren't so clear. The How To Use on their website says to apply a thin layer onto clean dry lips on alternate evenings, allow the product to dry, apply lip balm as needed throughout the day. But I was confused. Do I use a lip balm afterwards? That wasn't clear on their website. However on their Instagram it says layer it under their Squalene + Amino Acids Lip Balm to help retain moisture overnight. Why is that not a direction on your website or on the product itself?"

"I do like Tatcha's lip mask. Their regular one, the pink one. The gold thing I find a bit gimmicky. Do you remember when everyone was selling those, like, gold under eye patches? It was like four karat gold under eye patch, and it's like, okay, so? It's cute. It's cute. And I think it's good for Christmas. Is it interesting to me? Actually, no, not at all. I like the product, but if we're talking about the new release in general, this isn't very interesting to me."

"New shades and flavours of the Honey Infused Hydrating Lip Oil. Lip oil powered by bee garden oil to intensely hydrate lips and lock in moisture with a high shine and non sticky finish. I'm never gonna buy one of these again. I used mine that I opened once, used it and put it away. When I went to use it the other day, it tasted like cooking oil. It's within the expiry date that they give. It tasted like, oh, I'm frying something up. It was disgusting. The shades, however, are beautiful. And in that formula, these are going to look really nice. But one thing I'm not going to do is buy a product that before I even get the chance to use the whole thing, it's gonna go off and taste funny. This was in the timeline of this product meant to be going out a date. And even if I had used this every day from the point I bought it to the point I tried it and it tasted horrible, the whole thing wouldn't have been used up. It's kept in a cool, dark place, tight with the lid on. Disgusting. Because I like the shades and I like the formula. But when it goes bad, it's bad."

"These are from Huda Beauty, their lip contour lip stains, longwear and delivers bold pigment with blurred contour, perfect finish. Dual ended with a thinner and larger applicator shape, define and stain in one glide, comes in eight shades. I love the form of a stained product around the mouth because lip product comes off so easily. These look really nice, and it's nice to see this range of nudes and more pinky tones. The shades look beautiful and I love how deep the shade goes."

"Something I've been using so much that makes just a huge difference is the Lisa Eldridge Sculpt and Shade Lip Pencil. It's a lip liner that contours your lip rather than overlining it. Just that tiny little definition around the lip really makes a huge difference, and then really blend it out with a little bit of lip balm. It can just add a tiny bit of definition and make everything look a little bit more together without looking like makeup, so it doesn't look like a massive line on the lip."

"If you have to wait longer than an hour for your lip products to set, it's not great. And even on my hands it just swatched off. After an hour it just wiped off. So they really have messed up here with the formula. I think they need to go back to the drawing board with these, reformulate them to make them longer lasting but also apply smoother. They don't apply well at all. They really kind of drag around the lip area, get kind of patchy and splotchy in some areas. They've tried to introduce a product, a different kind of product that's just not hitting the mark. This just is not done right now."

"Cupuacu butter, Plant Squalene and Geodiamond pearls. Leaving lips soft and shimmering. High shine formula and sheer wash of color with luminous finish. Contains natural vanilla flavor, nourishing and hydrate lips for $12. You have Stardust, which is a frosted baby pink. Eclipse, Supernova, Cosmic, Orbit and Galaxy. I love the original formula anyway, so if it's the same deal, I'm going to really like these. And I do like it has a bit of a shine to it. Not everyday wear for me, but for other people it is. I love this applicator. I love that little dip in the applicator, means that it's going to pick up a little bit more product. Some product is going to sit within that dip and you're not going to have to go backwards and forwards, reapplying it. It's kind of like a standby. I really do like the shade range. That nude, I think that's beautiful."

"My ideal Brown it is Stone by Mac. I actually got this because Lonel Re has similar skin tone to me she wears this a lot of the time, and so I got it and it actually really works. So you can see on my skin it is a true Brown, um without the light true Brown it's not too orange and it's not too like black espresso. Stone on me is gray, it's a contour, so just bear that in mind as well when applying it. A more natural color on your lips, it's important to not overline too much."

"From Lisa Eldridge, the Rouge Experience Refillable Lipstick. It's described as a luxurious refillable next generation lipstick. The packaging is made from aluminium, is refillable and can be engraved. There are eight different shades in this. I love Lisa Eldridge products. I love the formula. I love the texture. This shade really excites me. I love the packaging. I love that it's a refill. With Lisa Eldridge, the formula is going to be beautiful. It's going to be comfortable to wear. There's going to be reasoning behind every single ingredient."

"Tarte isn't my favorite brand. I don't like them for a number of reasons, but if we're ranking these fairly, I do like that high shine, high color. I think sometimes when we use glossy products that aren't meant to be a tint, we do lose a lot of that high shine. So I do like that powerful shine. Because I like lip products and I like that the shine for them, I love the glow from. I'm going to pop them in at number four because I think that's quite nice and lip products are one of those products I feel like we can all get through."

"I just love the finish for this one. This would be a really nice, like, quick, I need to put something on my lips. Tiny bit of color. Gonna plump. It looks juicy. It looks glossy. This is genuinely one of my favorite formulas, brands, and textures. This is the Glass Tint Color Gloss from Romand. Romand make the most incredible lip products in general. This is the shade Peony Ballet. I really like this. The applicator kind of has that bend to it, so when you apply it, you're kind of just really pushing it to your cheek. Imagine a gloss with this high shine and color that isn't sticky, that doesn't feel tacky on the lip, in the most beautiful, subtle pink. And all the shades in this gloss are wonderful. It's really, really hydrating, and it's not sticky. It has, like, waxes in it that make it not sticky, but have that high shine to it, that really high gloss. There are six natural shades. I can do this, and I'm not scared about stringy bits or anything like that."

"I use this, right? It's not the most stingy plumper or anything like that. It doesn't hurt. And I'm quite weak with plumpers, lip plumpers, spicy foods. It just felt fine. It was absolutely fine. And actually, when it first went on the lip, beautiful. Really nice. Now, here's why I should have patch tested. I used it all on my lips, and then it kind of like, it wasn't smudged everywhere. I didn't touch the rest of my face, nothing like that. I know better than to put on a plumping product with the applicator. I didn't use any on my finger, and I just left it there and let it do its thing. It got all itchy down here, all red and raised. It looked horrendous. It got worse than this. It got redder and redder and redder."

"They all look really, really nice. The first one especially, and the pink one on the end of the first row, I would definitely go for. I really, really like the look of these. They're $6 each. And actually, they look a lot more nude on the lips than I thought they would have been. I thought they were gonna be, like, super opaque. Pay Me In Gold looks incredible. It looks like that 90s kind of lipstick, you know, that kind of, like, metallic kind of look that looks really beautiful. And Dripped Out looks really good too. This is, I think this is my favorite, though, because I'm very boring when it comes to lip products. So this kind of like, beige with a bit of golden is very exciting for me. But that looks good. It's always good to see drugstores coming out with some really, really good, decent stuff. This made me really excited."

"This is the Laneige Lip Glowy Balm, a lightweight moisture-rich balm with shea butter. We love it, we like these balms, they're great moisturizing lip balms. This one's the acai mango smoothie in the marbled formula, the lip care you love in a marbled formula. I could eat this with a spoon, it looks like dessert, my mouth is watering. It's really summery, a bit citrusy, a little bit sour, like passion fruit. It's limited edition so I better get it soon. The glowy lip balm is a little bit heavier weight compared to their serum. It's a nourishing lip treat infused with tart acai and juicy mango scent, and it looks so, so beautiful. I like the idea of going a bit more citrus, a little bit more tropical, because a lot of lip balm scents are quite sweet, always the candy floss, vanilla, gummy bear kind of situation, and I really do like the fruit ones like this one. I'm really excited for this."

"I absolutely adore and I am obsessed with the brand fwee. I may be familiar with fwee's Blurry Lip and Cheek Pudding Pot, now these are the first thing that caught my eye from the brand. I use them and I instantly fell in love with the brand. Everything about their packaging, their whole aesthetic, their products in general, not only do they all work incredibly well with all these beautiful finishes and textures but they are extremely extremely innovative, and that is why I keep going back to fwee products and the brand in general. Their products really are truly truly unique."

"I fell for influencers saying this was one of the best foundations they've ever used, but I just don't believe it. It claims to be a multi-use foundation stick with a natural blurred finish, 24-hour wear and hydration, and buildable coverage, but it wasn't as great as everyone hyped it up to be. It actually looks textured on the skin considering it's meant to be a blurring foundation, and it just looks like any other foundation, not blurring at all. I have foundations that are a lot more affordable that are a lot better. It's around $49, which isn't outrageous compared to other foundation prices, but I'd want it to be exceptional. I can't remember the last time I've seen people overhype a foundation like this. It's also full of skincare and gives a glow, which doesn't match the blurring, matte claim, and it's so wet that there's no way it would hold up 24 hours in heat and humidity. I can get use out of it when I'm filming, but I don't feel like it's complimentary to my skin and I couldn't wear it out to an event."

"I've been using this Missha BB cream in particular since I was, I don't know, early 20s. I love this BB cream, I think it's beautiful. The one in the red tube is one of my absolute favorites because I just love the way it sits on the skin. It looks so natural, any kind of texture on the skin is just completely evened out, smoothed out. It wears nicely, it wears well. I do think the red one has quite a bit more coverage. My oily people, if you do want one of the Missha BB creams, go for the red one."

"I'm going to use these BB creams from Glow. And I'm actually going to mix them up. [...] These are so sheer and so tinted that you're not really going to be like, 'Oh my god, the color is wrong.' I always think with [...] a BB Cream or something like that, I don't really want maximum coverage. I kind of want to be able to see my skin underneath. I want to see one or two slight blemishes. I want my skin texture to be visible."

"This is £49. When I first bought this in store, I shade matched and I had the person to help me shade match in store. It looked fine. [...] I got home yellow. So yellow. I usually buy one or two others around it. But for almost £50, I don't want to go around guessing. However, I did exactly that. I bought two more other shades just to get my shade right. And I wish I never did because I do not like this foundation one bit. Now I'm oily. This foundation does say skin types. This foundation is for normal, oily, combination, dry. This foundation is meant to be for everyone. When I tell you this is like grease on my face, right? It's not just hydrating to me. It's not just a little bit like, oh, serum, you expect hydration. You expect moisture. This does not blend into my face one bit. This sits on top of my skin to a point where I can get my fingernail and do this and it will leave like a line. [...] And no, foundation shouldn't do that. You should be blending your foundation so much that it's just pushed into the skin. [...] Initially when I put it on, I really really like the formula. I love the finish. It feels really kind of like weightless on the skin. And I was actually kind of surprised at the coverage you get from it. I think it's a really beautiful coverage. I really do. And it looks better when you put it on versus literally about 20 seconds later."

"I've seen people say it looks like something that might sit better on drier skin or work better for drier skin, but I have seen people with oily skin rave about this. I'm very interested to try this because it looks so natural on the skin and I do like a natural coverage for day to day. And it's that Hydro Grip gel concealer that makes me think it's going to be really nice. Gel formulas tend to sit really well on all skin textures, so I think that's going to be stunning. They're not over hydrating for oily skins. They're not so dry for drier skin."

"This foundation has a solid shade range for deeper skin with good undertone options. The coverage is full and it truly lasts all day without breaking down or oxidizing. It handles hyperpigmentation really well and doesn't budge through heat or humidity. The formula is buildable without getting cakey. It does have a more matte finish, so if you want something ultra dewy, this isn't it. But for long lasting, reliable coverage, this delivers."

"That foundation is one of the best foundations I think I have ever used in my life. Once you get the shade right, I actually went into the counter at Selfridges and had a shade match because I kept buying the shade that wasn't mine. And oh, my God, it was so stunning. One of the best foundations for me. Definitely worth a price tag. I think if there's something worth investing in, it is your complexion products."

"This is matte than the red cushion and is designed also for long wearing throughout the day. It really helps keep oil in check. So if you do have an oilier skin, this is going to be a great option for you. The finish is matte, full coverage, great for anyone with oily skin or combination skin or anybody who just wants shine control throughout the day. And I have to say, all the cushions do a really good job at sitting on top of texture. So if you do have textured skin, things like larger pores, perhaps fine lines, all these foundations do sit beautifully on top of them."

"I love this foundation. It's one of the only foundation ranges, drugstore I mean, that has a really great range of shades that include olive undertone. They have truly made this foundation good for everyone. You have so many shades that vary in neutral, warm, cool. I just think that it is an absolutely beautiful foundation in general. It has worked on everyone I have used it on. [...] I would build and add this foundation to my kit because I just absolutely adored the way it sat on people who wanted a really natural finish but a good coverage that you could build up. It is so, so beautiful. If you have problematic skin in any way, you know, skin that may be a little bit drier in some areas, perhaps a little bit more porous, this sits so incredibly over any of that kind of texture. And you can make it as natural as you want or build it up as much as you want."

"There's a lot more kick up than usual with the Studio Fix Powder, but nothing too crazy. I have to be honest with you, I'm not... it's not majorly different. Like, I'm not stunned into how could they do this to me. The only thing I am finding is I'm gonna have to build up a few more layers of a new one versus the old one. I would never recommend applying your powder foundation with a sponge anyway. It's always nicer with a brush. It's fine, but I think the shade is off. I should have gone for NC15. I'm not overly disheartened, to be honest with you. I am looking at my face now and I'm thinking, okay, that does look like powder, which it is. Maybe if it was closer to my shade, it would be a little bit more less noticeable."

"This is probably our fullest coverage in terms of skin tint. [...] What I love about this one is there's no texture here, it's just my nose texture. Usually if I put foundation on top of my nose texture, I get this really dried out kind of texture around here. It looks like dry skin, it physically looks like dry skin. Whereas this glides over really nicely. I [...] have worn it for two or three hours and it still looks stunning on the skin. This I would say is for you more oily people out there. So those people want a skin tint, but you're not looking for something super over the top, glowy. [...] The Maybelline one looks more matte, but still have a glow to it and still look like skin. If you're oily, this is going to work really, really beautifully for you."

"The foundation on my cheek now, if I smile like this, looks more obvious now. You can see it, it's not blurred, you can still see it. [...] In my nose here looks quite textured. [...] To me, this isn't blurring. I would love to see somebody in real life using this that is finding it blurring on them. Maybe it's just my skin, maybe it's not made for my skin, but it just doesn't look blurred. You can still see texture. [...] But everyone's claiming that it's like this filter in a bottle moment. And I really don't think it is. [...] I'm gonna keep this foundation because I really like it. [...] It sits weightless on my skin. I can't feel it. I feel like my skin looks like skin, some texture, which is absolutely fine. I can build it up in those areas where I need a little bit more coverage. [...] But I am just getting zero blur, zero blur from it. [...] That's not blurring. It's not blurring, like at all."

"Another foundation that I really didn't get on with that went super, super viral for just how great it wasn't is the Jones Road What the Foundation. The only way I know how to describe this foundation is it's kind of one you had to tiptoe around when it comes to application method, right? So I was trying to tap with fingers very delicately. I was trying to think, you know, it's a makeup artist brand, what would a makeup artist do to make this work. Then I was using brushes, and I was using all this other stuff. A few things didn't work in this right. The finish, in general, really gripped to the texture on my skin. Considering it was made for a maturer skin with perhaps a bit more skin texture, it just didn't sit or grip well. The finish was so not glowy, but this oily natural that I looked terrible. I looked awful with this foundation. It's another one of those foundations that I can see working for a particular group of people. But another one where I also think, why should I have to work this hard to try and get a foundation to work for me?"

"This Maybelline Fit Me one can be used by itself, and then a translucent powder would be better. The Maybelline Fit Me isn't a powder foundation, but it does have coverage. Our powders, if we have a foundation like the Maybelline Fit Me foundation, the fluid, which has enough coverage already, you can build it up. You then don't need to go in with a powder with coverage."

"With my skin it didn't want to blend with my skin. When I put this on, the fact that it was immediately no was enough for me to be like, no, I'm not interested. The texture is the killer for me. This wet cream, it was really strange. It's just a big not for me. I do know a lot of people like this and I do want to say I do like Kosa products. Their Cloud set is one of my absolute favorite powders, for example, and I also like their sunscreens as well and their concealer and their other foundation and their bronzers I like a lot from this brand. However, this was a miss."

"The Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation launched with 40 shades, which was one of the defining features of Fenty Beauty's commitment to inclusivity. [...] By having all those shades and then launching products like bronzers and contours that were workable with these shades, they really set a high standard in the beauty industry and actually a kind of benchmark goal for a lot of brands as well."

"I think drugstores are doing some really, really good foundations recently. L'Oreal have done a really good job recently with their products. So it's meant to be up to 32 hours long wear with Vitamin C. No fading, no shifting, and it's a full coverage. First impressions are good. It's sitting quite well on my skin. Usually in this area here, I get a lot of texture, but this is sitting really nicely in my problem areas."

"The lightest one will still be way too light for people and also way too red. That's red. To me, this says you do not want people of color using your product. You don't want black people using your product. Because if the intention was there, it would be there. And it's not. Straight up. Even in the back of your mind, it should be there. It's not. [...] You would have done some research. You would have tested these shades on actual people and see that this shade range is actually inadequate and shouldn't even be... I mean, it's laughable, to be honest with you."

"If you haven't tried the brand already, everything released from Lisa Eldridge brand is perfect, absolute perfection. It's kind of expected coming from a makeup artist but there are some brands out there from professional makeup artists where everything isn't like the best. With Lisa Eldridge as a brand, everything seems maybe a little bit gimmicky or like they've tried to release something and be on trend with current releases. Lisa Eldridge has started really well with these beautiful lipsticks and glosses and then built up slowly from there. There's never been a release that seems like desperation or the need to rush something out. Everything seems completely thought through. The eyeshadow palettes where you can move around the shades if you want to make it your own palette, the different textures, different toppers, different types of product and finish all work beautifully together. Everything within the Lisa Eldridge brand is just incredibly stunning."

"This is Tirtir's reformulated red cushion foundation, shade 22N, though I'm actually a 23. They changed the formula because people were finding it oxidized on their skin, though I never personally had that issue. I'm not noticing too much of a difference in the coverage, but one thing I am noticing is you have the opportunity to build it up a little bit more, it goes on a little more relaxed while still giving coverage, so you don't have to be as wary of using too much. The texture doesn't look different, doesn't smell different, still smells like Tirtir. I personally don't see too much difference in the formula right now, but it does feel a little bit more lightweight, it doesn't go on as heavy as fast, and it's still moving with my skin really nicely. To me it just looks and feels like Tirtir does, so there's no worry the formula has changed too drastically that you won't like this foundation anymore. But if you've been a little concerned, give it a few months to make sure you're getting the new formula."

"This is the Parnell Cicamanu Serum Cushion Foundation. One cushion foundation has a whole bottle of serum in this foundation. It is stunning. I wore this for the whole day and it looked so great on my skin all day. It's that semi-matte finish, so if you don't want to be over the top glowy, this is going to be a great one. They actually claim that this is the number one cushion foundation people use in South Korea. The benefits you get from the serum in the foundation is it reduces redness, it soothes the skin, it's nourishing. But even though it's a foundation with a lot of skin care benefits going on, I don't find that's noticeable in wear. It's that mid-matte, so you don't feel like you've just applied your skin care and you've just whacked a foundation on top. It's for all skin types, but I do think this is going to be better for those oilier skin people that really want a glow. I love the Parnell one because it adds hydration to my skin without being over hydrated, so where in those areas where I'm dehydrated, it's just enough."

"The color changed quite drastically throughout the day. It got yellower and yellower, and by the end of the day, it looked very, very yellow on my skin. I would say this does not sit well on oily skin. You can see it's kind of gone a bit patchy, some bits are missing. I can imagine this will be beautiful for drier skins, maybe some more combination skins. But on oily skin, I would definitely be wary that you may have to touch it up a few times or even reapply."

"Is it the highest coverage? No, it's not meant to be. It's definitely a skin tint, almost, which is fine by me. I think that looks really, really nice. Apart from the skin on my nose, that's a little bit dehydrated, and it is kind of gathering up in this corner here. I think it's good. You can still see my blemishes, I don't mind that. I don't think skin is always going to look perfect, and this is nice for when you want something kind of lightweight. [...] I'm going to say keep to this. This is a really, really nice foundation. It's not a foundation, it's a tinted hydrator."

"This is the Rhode Pocket Bronzer, in shades Pebble and Sip. People love this bronzer, but I'm not a fan of the blush, so I wanted to see if it's the same formula in a bronzer stick. Pebble looks a little more gray and colder, Sip looks like it'll give more of a golden bronze, more orange on me. It's very sculpting, this looks borderline contour, it would be a great bronzer on a fairer skin tone, but on me it looks more like a naturally shadowed contour shade. Using a finger you can really push the product nicely into your skin. Would I run out and abandon all my other bronzers to hunt down this one? Absolutely not. It's a nice bronzer, but is it wildly different to other cream bronzers I've used? Not really. I'm going to get a lot of use out of it though. When I mix Pebble and Sip together it looks a little bit bruised, perhaps it's a bit too yellow for my neutral skin tone, but Pebble by itself is much better on my skin. Am I going to replace my current bronzers with this? No, I think I'll get through my other bronzer first and then move back onto these, but they're fine, they're nice. I support the product, I support people's love for the product, I'm just not blown away."

"This is the Rhode Highlight Milk Multi-Purpose Illuminizer. I bought it thinking it was a highlighter stick, I just didn't read it properly. It's like a hybrid of their skincare with an effect to it, it has this glow to it. This is the lightest shade, shade one. It says to shake it before you use it. It's like this pinky pearlescent sheen. It feels very, very lightweight, extremely lightweight. It does have a really beautiful glow to it. [...] The only thing I'm worried about with glowy products like this is the glitter content, glowy to me does not mean glittery. [...] It doesn't look overly glittery in real life, but there's the smallest fleck of glitter. It is very pinky on my skin, but that's because I bought the lighter shade, there's a shade that's more champagney that I think will be nicer on my skin. Would I buy this again? I don't think I would, only because there is the tiniest amount of glitter in it, I'm just not a glittery person. However, the positives, it's not too heavy on my skin, it's not over hydrating, and I feel like the glow is going to be there without being greasy. If you don't mind a little bit of shimmer, this might be okay for you. It's a bit glittery for me, but I'll use it up, it'll be fine."

"What I was originally going to say about these products are they are not worth it. They're pretty useless for the price. I've never tried them. I've seen people try them online on their hands swatching them and it basically looks like dust. Makeup is meant to have pigment. It is a lightweight blush. However, here's what gets me about these products. The pigmentation, the depth, and the heaviness of your blend depends on you. You can use the most pigmented blush in the whole world ever and make it look blended out and faded out and less pigmented by using less product, less pigment, mixing it with a bit of your powder or put some of your other powder on top. You do not need to sell people a poorly pigmented powder for more than whatever the price is. I also don't think a lot of people need this. I don't think anyone in their everyday life needs this. I don't think any makeup artists need this. Really, a makeup artist will know how to blend and fade powder into another. It's not solving a problem. It's always the price point that gets me and in this case, everything else that goes around it. You also need to bear in mind as well that with a product like this that doesn't kick off that much pigment, technique matters as well. I've seen a lot of people say as well that a problem has been created for the sake of it."

"I love these blushes with my whole heart. [...] Don't let the heart packaging fool you. These are stunning. I love the formula. It's like a creamy, I don't describe it as a dry cream, but it sits beautifully on skin texture. [...] It's a moisturizing blush, easy to build without caking, and it's encased in a heart shaped container. I really love them. [...] I think they're really beautiful. I think they make great shades. Very inclusive shades."

"These are from one of my favorite brands, Romand, [...] and these are their Juicy Roll Cheek Blushes. They come in a few different shades. [...] They come in neutrals, reds and pinks. [...] It's subtle in a way that isn't harsh. It looked for a second like it was going on [...] quite intense, but it really blends out really nicely. It has a glow to it, but it's not greasy or claggy feeling on the skin. Smells good too."

"Serum infused, it says sculpts, defines and warms the face. Powered by Griptech pigments and sodium hyaluronate, it's self-setting, water resistant emulsion like highly pigmented formula that hydrates and delivers a weightless feel and effortless application for a blurred sun-kissed natural matte finish that lasts all day. I love the idea of a serum bronzer like that, isn't just a liquid bronzer but serum-esque. I think liquids can be a little bit heavier than a serum, especially if it's like water serums feel more watery, lighter weight on the skin. These look beautiful. I appreciate the deepness of these. They look really, really beautiful."

"It's a formula infused with hyaluronic acid that hydrates the skin. [...] It comes in 10 shades: petal, peony, bloom, daisy, lily, orchid, fuchsia. [...] I actually prefer this lineup of shades. [...] I've been into the Dior blushes recently, I think they are really really stunning and really beautiful. I'm happy to see this kind of deeper pink shade and this deeper brownie nude as well alongside the light pink and the orangey shade. It's a nice selection for neutrals. I do like the moussey kind of airy finish, it very much reminds me of the Fard à Poudre pudding pots, which are my absolute favorite things ever. The shades look good. However, I do have a bone to pick with Dior: why do you not just put the shades on your models? Why use exactly the same thing and then Photoshop a swatch onto the model? [...] We can't really see [...] what the product really looks like because you have quite literally not used the product on this model. [...] I really like their matte mousey textures and I like a glowy one as well, but matte textures excite me quite a bit as an oily person."

"These three shades, Mousseline Bronze, Poplin Bronze, Oranza Bronze, that's it? Three shades? I don't understand. One of the biggest fashion houses in the whole world who constantly uses deep, deep skin tone models on their runways, and this is what you give us for your beauty part: three shades of bronzer. These brands with all this money, you could do anything. You have all the money and yet you choose to bring out three shades of bronzer. I don't understand. I think if you find the right shade for you in the bronzer, this is a beautiful product. I actually quite like it."

"I think I do like the color of this NYX one, but it does have that slight shimmer to it, which always gives, on me, a bit of an ashiness. I just don't think it needs that metallic tone to it, that metallic undertone. Not my favorite. I really don't like that shade. I don't like this. I don't like this shade, though. That's not great on me, but also, I look at this and think about it on perhaps a deeper skin tone, and this kind of gray shine it has, a silvery shine. And this side is so blurred and so balanced."

"This is the Laura Geller Serum Blush. The shade is Beautiful Blossom. And you can see how thin it is. So to me, even though I am getting that really nice sheer wash of color, I can still see my skin through, which is a big tenet of the Demi Method. They really want your natural skin to show and to have your natural texture and everything like that. But I find that I can still get that by using a little more product."

"It comes in the exact same packaging as all other Becca highlights, and it is also the same formulation as all other Becca highlights. It's staying true to the Becca formula that we all know and love. I've honestly been wearing this for the past four months straight because I received the original one four months ago. I am in love with this, to say the least. My vision behind Champagne Pop was to create a color that's going to give a very wide range of skin tones the ability to achieve a summertime, very golden glow without being too brown, too muddy, too bronze, because I didn't want someone who's very fair to be like, oh, I wish that would look good on me, but it doesn't because it's too beige and it looks dirty on my face."

"This is one of my favorite blush formulas. This is a stunning formula. A cushiony cream to powder blush that gives the dreamiest flush of color with a lasting blurred matte finish. "This brush, the Soft Pinch Blush Brush, even if you're not getting a Rare Beauty product, get this brush. Absolutely get this brush. This is for foundation, bronzer, even powder bronzer, any cream product you're using as well. It's got this what I would call like a stipple brush finish where it's denser here but thinner on top. You get really good, light but even application. So even like powder contour, it's really nice because it applies it really naturally and gently. Foundation is really nice to kind of stipple it on as well. A really, really beautiful brush. I really like this brush."

"I love Clio. The Prism Highlighter you have six colors: gold shear, fairy pink, frozen crystal, grace opal, peach, sapphire, and violet. These look stunning. I love Clio. Clio is a very affordable brand. I have some of their mascaras and they're just a really, really great brand. I like how they have some other shades here that can be used on deeper skin tones. I like their highlighters. They do some of the best highlighters. I really like them. They all look really stunning."

"I'm gonna go in with Merit's Daylow. This is a shade kava, which is stunning. It's not. I wouldn't even say this is a color. It's more like a finish. It just has this luminous glow to it. I just love this highlighter so much. When a highlight is really, really nice and it's not glittery and it's not overly shimmery, and it just looks like my skin is really, really glowing, I just love it. The formula and the texture, that's what I want from the highlight. I like to keep it just how it is on the skin."

"I really like that color. That is nice. That's bronze bronze. Beautiful. I could use that as bronzer. If I just used the tiniest amount, that'll be really beautiful. The Coral Crush fades in so nicely. It actually looks really nice on the skin because it does have that slight shine, that nice glow to it. "Everyone always says the original Makeup Eraser cloth removes your makeup completely just with water, but it does not, you cannot remove your makeup completely and properly with just water and a cloth. I personally do find them quite tough on the skin and I find they don't remove makeup well. I don't think this is a brand that can give us anything else impressive, I think they missed their calling to make proper makeup remover products to pair with the cloth instead of telling people they don't need a makeup remover at all."

"I'm going with soft ochre Paint Pot from Mac. The thing I would always use under eye makeup, depending on skin tone, it'll be constructivist. Paint Pot, Paint Pot, soft ochre, painterly, whatever the skin tone was. Now I do a thin layer and then buff that out, overlapping the concealer. Because I don't want eyeshadow to sit on that concealer at all. Make sure I'm covering like the outside corner of the eye, not under the eye. And then tapping that into the lid. And that's how I would and still do prime my lids."

"There's two different parts to it. So you have more of this metallic and then this foil which is more of that foil. They come with these little bits as well to put back, to pop the caps back on to keep the product hydrated and keep it from drying out. These are beautiful. I love that there's two different sides. I love that they are magnetic. So you can take this off and take this off and you can switch out if you like wearing a bright purple but you want a nude like metallic with it or you want to take two foils with you. I think that's a really good call. [...] They grip, grip, grip like I'm pretty positive you can use the metallics as a base for eyeshadow. The choice is stunning. Really, really beautiful. They are really, really long lasting."

"Elmus Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads, these are really beautiful. I'm just going to circle around my nose just to get rid of any kind of dead skin right underneath, because where I'm seeing sebaceous filaments that you can kind of see it coming off your nose when you put makeup on, that's what I'm seeing. The rest of my nose is just terrible in texture. [...] That already feels a million times better."

"When it was, like, instantly blurring, it was not. Actual lie. It went on my skin, kind of like, shiny, like a glowy foundation. The thing is, when you have a product that has a glow to it on the skin, it isn't blurring. You have to kind of like, it has to be smooth and matte to look blurred, right. I was obviously like, okay, that's not blurring my skin in any way at all. It's actually, if anything, it's making me look sweaty. And also, that means, to me, if a product is kind of like glowy, shiny, glossy on the skin, it's not going to be long wearing as it claims to be. There's no way something that kind of texture can sit for that long. And yes, you can have, like, a bit of a glow and it can be long wearing, but that kind of, like, it was almost greasy on me, is not going to be long wearing at all."

"A lot of people are using the pads like this, and then they're tapping with this really loose pad and the tips of their fingers here. You go into the compact once, like this on any of them, and then straight onto the skin. Sometimes you can't even see the product on the sponge. But there's loads on it. You start around this area first for the most untextured part of the face, and then go into the middle here. And when you're tapping, it needs to be direct, like a beauty blender. You tap it on the skin like the whole base of that beauty blender is touching the skin. So you need to be using that curvature of your hand to push like this. You don't have to do it hard, you don't have to do it fast. But once you do it right, it looks good."

"It just doesn't feel like a brand that has the excitement around it that it did when it launched. Like a lot of brands, this one feels like they launched with loads of exciting different products. Like we had those highlighters that were unique in color and it was all quite exciting. And now they've released their foundation, it kind of just, it's like, okay, basics. We're going for the basics. And I feel like we need to see something exciting again because they're going to get boring, they're going to get stale, they're going to get stagnant. "Inglot Duraline is something that professional makeup artists have used in their kit for years and years. It's [...] mainly to freshen up dried up makeup. It can also make all these different products one product, for example, if you want to make an eyeshadow into a lipstick, or an eyeshadow into mascara. [...] You can mix it in with foundation if you wanted to. There are different bases, water based, alcohol based, airbrushing ones. These are products that do absolutely work. Yes, it does everything that people say it does. I have backstock of it because it's in my kit, it's in my regular makeup. It's everywhere because it is a must for professional makeup kits. [...] I just love the Duraline one. I think it just works for everything."

I feel like Dermatica was made for me because the dermatology team takes a look at my skin and tells me what is best and makes a personalized formula made for my skin. It's just the most beautiful foundation. I've actually out of fear, I don't know why, ordered four refills for it because I've never found a foundation that has this finish that works on oily skin. "I've wanted to try these for a really long time. I like Milk's complexion products and formulas that have that gel-like grippy texture. This is a gel concealer with that gel texture that almost moves with the skin. It's borderline hydrating but not overly hydrating, and it has a smoothness to it like a hydrated smoothness. It sits really nicely on top of texture on my face, especially around my nose. On my skin it's beautiful and really, really nice. It's very very easy to blend, and it just has this really beautiful finish. It claims to be 12-hour wearing, but to be honest with you, I think I can kind of see it lasting longer. It's not overly creamy and not overly liquidy. This is a 100% keep, and I might even get a shade a few shades darker for my actual face as well."

"If I was to have this full range of concealer, I wouldn't even be happy owning every single one of these concealers that I would have a shade for everyone. I know that sounds really strange because there are a lot of shades here, but there's a lot of shades that I'm like, why are these? Why do some of these exist? Some of them are so close to each other that you don't need. I'm not impressed with the shade range. There needs to be lighter, and we do need some darker ones here. Something's off with the shade range. These five shades, I'm gonna group them together. Something's off. I can't quite put my finger on it, but these aren't correct. I don't know how else to describe it. From first glance it looks inclusive to everyone, but as I'm looking through the shades and thinking about people and humans, this doesn't, this isn't quite right. Something's off about the shade range. I see the green, the red, the neutral, some yellowy tones, greys in the darker tones, which isn't a safe zone."

"It does look beautiful. I like NYX a lot. I really like them and I believe that this concealer will be a good concealer. I'll buy it if I'm out, I'll definitely be interested in it. But the whole snatched thing, I'm like, what does that mean? Because snatched to me is like lifted, sculpted. But in order to sculpt the face, you have to have comparison. So what I'm saying is snatched depends on, not one product, not one concealer. It depends on what other products you're wearing."

"When it comes to using it under the eyes, it feels like it's set already. There's no playtime. You can see my fingernails going red where I'm really pushing down to get that formula to blend. That's not what I want to be doing under my eyes. I don't want to be pushing and trying to move this product around. And I also don't want it to just sit on top of my under eyes looking textured and cakey and claggy. It almost dries down instantly. When it's under eyes, you want some time to blend, you want some time to pat, you want some time to warm up that product. But even when you warm up this product, it goes a little bit flaky. I wouldn't even let it hang around on the skin for a few minutes. It is not a good texture. I was so disappointed because I like their other products, I like their highlighters, I love their contours, but this concealer was just not it. I really did not enjoy using it at all."

"It's too light. Because you put something too light on top of something too dark, it's going to turn gray. So now we have a grayness around the eye and the grayness around the lip. What I would do in this situation is use the color corrector also, but just get a concealer that is your skin tone or even a tiny bit of foundation. And then that lightening concealer. Tap a tiny bit here and a tiny bit here. Not over the whole face because you're going to get ashy."

"I do like the applicator, it promotes control, right? It promotes like only use this bit, only use a tiny tiny amount. And I do like the sound of it, the formula, and I like the packaging. I like that angled to the eye area angle. It looks really good. Some people say it might be a little bit unhygienic, but you can wash a spongy tip like that easy with warm water and soap, just hold it upside down and let it air dry, or spray it with a sanitizing brush cleaner."

"This is a Huda Beauty Faux Filter Color Corrector in shade Peach. These are really nice to gently color correct the eye area. They're not like crazy thick heavy color correctors. After it's blended in, it's not like crazy orange or crazy dark in any way. It actually just levels out the tone under my eye rather than over brightening or making it too orange. We just want it to let level itself out with the rest of my skin."

"Everyone always asks what I think about this NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, and I obviously have it and have used it before, but I can never really give an opinion. I don't think it was really a standout concealer to me. It is very creamy and blends actually really beautifully into the skin. [...] It's a little bit drier than I thought it would have been. And it says radiant, right? In terms of it being radiant, I am a little bit like, where? Where's that radiance? Radiance is lacking. [...] It's almost like matte in my eyes. Does that look radiant to you? That doesn't look radiant to me."

"The concealer is one of my absolute favorite concealers for when I want something full coverage that I know is going to look, not cakey on the skin in any way, but still give me that really, really good coverage. A little bit goes a long way. I probably had that concealer a year. It really is one of my go to products. I do think the price for the quality of product is fair. "We're going in with the Maybelline Eraser Concealer. I've used this before, but never really given it any thought. I purchased this one myself from Superdrug. And I do quite like it. You actually don't need that much. I used so much, but a little bit goes a really, really long way. It sat beautifully on the skin. Almost hydrating-ish, I guess, because it's anti-aging. It's a really beautiful concealer. I wish I grabbed one sooner and used it more."

"I'm going to use the Camo Concealer, but with the lip stain, we might get like a glossy satin, because I don't want it to be too glossy, and I don't want it to be too matte as well. It's very sheer, which is nice. That's a perfect amount of shine and not shine. My one critique would be that you don't even have to mix it with concealer. Just go straight on with your product. Much better. Much more pigmentation."

"The highest protection is from Bloom Effects. This is a Tulip Dew sunscreen serum, SPF 50. It's the most beautiful serum-esque, non-invasive sunscreen, and it just has a stunning glow to it. Blends incredibly well on the skin. It's very much a veil-off product, so we're getting all that sunscreen protection, but we're not choosing a sunscreen that's like old-fashioned, on-the-beach, sand-sticking-to-you kind of sunscreen. You can barely see it and it sits beautifully under foundation."

"I've gone through so many tubes of this. I love a good sunscreen that sits on under makeup, and I love especially how HaruHaru Wonder make incredible sunscreens that sit over makeup as well. Why I love this one in particular to pair with makeup is because it's not greasy at all. The texture kind of gives you this velvety finish on the skin. It's not that shine that you can get from some sunscreens, especially SPF 50s. Even though it is great for oily people, it is truly a sunscreen that works for all skin types. It has so many great skincare ingredients that if you want to use this on the day you're doing your makeup as your moisturizer, as your primer, you can absolutely do that and you're good to go. Your skin is going to feel moisturized, and it's going to be the perfect base for your foundation. One of the key ingredients is black rice. Black rice infused oil acts as an antioxidant on your skin. So it's not only protecting your skin from UV rays, it's protecting your skin from free radicals that are all around us, all the time, just trying to get into your face. And this contains niacinamide, and you're going to be wearing this daily."

"This is their Black Bamboo Daily Soothing Sunshield. Haruharu Wonder is a brand that really focus on sustainability and kind of influencing us to make small but effective changes in our skincare routine. And this is why this sunscreen is so perfect for my journey. This is going to be my new habit, applying it throughout the day when I should. It's perfect to carry around with me. It fits in my car, it fits in my coat pocket. It fits in my trouser pocket. It's suggested that you reapply sunscreen every 2 hours. Yes, even over makeup. And there's a way to do it, and that's extremely easy to do with this stick kind of form. There's no stickiness, there's no tackiness. There's no getting it all over your hands. The Black Bamboo Daily Soothing Sunshield in particular is a really beautiful, soft, powdery balm. It is super lightweight, and it's going to prevent oiliness even in super humid environments. This is the one for makeup prep in humid environments. It can be used everywhere on the go. So face, arms, hands, neck, legs, other places you want to put sunscreen because it also has amazing ingredients that look after your skin as you apply the product throughout the day. We're talking things like Niacinamide and Fermented Bamboo Extract. And yes, you can absolutely reapply this over your makeup."

"This is the Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sun Cream SPF 50 PA++++. The extra, extra super protection. For those of you who don't like too much moisture, this can actually double up as a sunscreen and a moisturizer, too, because it has hydrating ingredients that include 74, that's a lot. Naturally derived minerals from deep sea water. And that's going to keep your skin nourished, healthy, moisturized. Again, not greasy, just glowing. It's the number one sunscreen in the Olive Young Awards. So it's award winning, and it's the number one award winner. So you know it's good."

"Who cares about the skin care ingredients, this is makeup that feels as good as it looks apparently. I like the idea of a balm blush, but the packaging looks like Makeup Revolution, [...] they made it look cheap and nasty. [...] This looks awful on the skin. [...] If you put a balmy shimmer product over texture, the texture looks worse, and the texture is clearer here. That red is awful, it looks like a rash. [...] I don't like the look of them on the skin, I think they look really horrible, and it's not great even on a deeper skin tone. The cool shades are way too coppery and metallicky, almost like copper face paint. I really don't like this balm at all."

"This is Caroline Hirons' brand. She makes skincare accessible and easy for everyone to understand. They literally put the amount that you need on top so you can plop a little bit and use it, it literally says use this much. It's for all skin types with directions when to use it and what order. One, it smells incredible, it doesn't smell fragranced but at the same time it has a nice smell, it smells clean, really clean, really fresh. When it says all skin types, it has this really beautiful, really lightweight texture. If you have oily skin, this is stunning. When it goes on the skin you rub it in like a moisturizer but then it almost feels like it turns into this watery kind of feel, really lightweight, quickly absorbed into the skin so you can go ahead and put your makeup right on top. I've been using this on days where I'm not wearing makeup and just been wearing this and an SPF. It hasn't felt too heavy, it hasn't felt too thick. It's been absolutely stunning."

"I use the Then I Met You Bong Bounce Cream. This is so, so cute. The smell is incredible. I love this cream. I've actually been using this for a while because it's that perfect balance between a moisturizer and a gel texture. So it's really, really lightweight. So again, if you're oily, you still need that moisture before your makeup, but it's not over moisturized, so it's not going to sit on top of your skin. It has Squalene and Ceramides and it's also infused with Vitamin C rich Hallabong Extract, which helps brighten the skin."

"This is the Typology Nine Ingredient Face Moisturizer. Small amount, I was about to say pea size but I use too much. This is for everyone, oily skin, dry skin, whatever. I always say this: let your skin do what it needs to do with that moisturizer. Never drip it on your face because you're overkill, you're giving your face too much hydration. That tiny little finger dot gave me the full T-Zone."

"I've been loving this one from The Ordinary. [...] I love just straight up hyaluronic acid as a primer, and it's skincare, so you can incorporate that into your skincare routine. Morning, evening, and you can incorporate into your pre makeup skincare routine if you want. For me that's a good enough primer. It makes the skin feel even the whole way around. Those areas are a bit more oily, perhaps bit more dehydrated, and it gives you the most incredible texture to your skin."

"This is the Beauty of Joseon Calming Serum. I've actually used one of their serums already. You can see I've used quite a bit of this one because it's beautiful under makeup. Serums are packed with things that really benefit your skin, hydrating ingredients. Unlike some thicker moisturizers, it is absorbed completely into the skin. We get all that goodness, the hydration goodness of the ingredients we choose to have in our serum, but it doesn't hang around on the skin. There's no layer."

"This is inspired by dewdrops, but the exact same clinically effective niacinamide and hyaluronic acid base that makes skin glow instantly and brightens over time. The difference? It gives skin a warmer, radiant glow. I was taken aback by the color at first, but it shears out, blending in seamlessly, giving my skin just a subtle wash of healthy looking color with a warm, natural glow. "I knew that I would want something super hydrating during the day after I've been out in the sun and I didn't want my skin to become dry tight anything like that but I also knew I'll be doing things like going out for dinner in the evenings where I don't necessarily want to sit there super hydrated so I knew if I took my double cream and serum I could customize how I wanted my skin to be. The product isn't sticky in any way, it's very very lightweight on the skin. It's also non-comedogenic, and the last one we want during summer is that heavy sticky feeling on our face especially when our face is already feeling sticky and sweaty. You can customize your skincare routine to the needs of your skin. You're feeling like you don't need that much moisture, you can use more of a serum over a cream. You're feeling like you need a lot of moisture, perhaps you've been laying out in the sun all day, use more of a cream mixing with a serum. It is essential after being out in the sun even if you're wearing makeup, even if you have on that SPF, to look after and hydrate your skin afterwards. The white truffle double cream and serum, one of my absolute favorite skincare products of all time. It is going to change the way you prep your skin for makeup."

"This is from a brand called AXIS-Y, and this is the Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum. This has been a cult favorite for some time now. It fades dark spots and hyperpigmentation, and I've done a little bit of snooping myself, and this product has incredible reviews. Serums like this that are really kind of lightweight and just that gel kind of texture sit incredibly well underneath makeup, because they get that kind of plump the skin, very, very slightly tacky texture to them, which makes for a great priming solution or alternative to a primer. Also leaves the skin with a really healthy glow. I don't look oily, I don't look greasy, I just look like I have glowing skin."

"These are from a brand called Abib, their collagen eye patch jelly, Jericho rose jelly, sixty patches in the tub. These are really, really good eye patches. [...] There are some eye patches where I don't really see a difference under my eyes, I think I've just done like a glorified eye cream routine. [...] These claim to brighten and depuff and I really do see it with these, [...] I actually often don't see the point in a lot of eye patches. They have some super hydrating ingredients in more of a serum form, there's shea butter in the serum, and shea butter can be quite rich, so if you put a pure shea butter under your eye it can be too thick and too heavy, especially before makeup you may get milia. But having those [...] rich ingredients in that serum texture gives you enough hydration without overprepping the skin, which is what we don't want to do before makeup. [...] That serum form just hydrates enough. Perfect, that's all you really want."

"This targeted precision tip is what really intrigues me about this. The mess-free angled applicator dispenses just the right amount of product allowing for a smooth controlled application. It fits perfectly under the inner corners of the eyes where we tend to have darker shadows to neutralize unwanted tones. I'm very happy that we're past the point of those intensely orange color correctors that nobody really needs unless you have a very deep discoloration under the eye, but a lot of people do only need this level of color correction. If you do have really dry under eyes, perhaps they kind of crease when you're not even wearing makeup, or perhaps they look dry and textured, something like this kind of holds this moisture, this shine, and this glow on the skin majority of the day. It really held this wetish glow to the skin even when blended in."

"The best one I have used for under makeup specifically is the Eye Cream from Skin Rocks. This has only come out recently, but I've been using it on my eyes because I get really dry on this inside corner. And it is the perfect, perfect formula and texture for under eye makeup. "I absolutely love this product. This is the Rare Beauty Under Eye Brightener. It's quite unique in that it's not really concealer. It's meant to go either just under your eyes when you're not wearing makeup to add a little bit of brightness, a little bit of light, but without having to use layers and layers of concealer that can sometimes start to look a little bit cakey and a little bit heavy. This just adds a touch of brightness, a touch of light to those areas. I find it serum-like and it really sits beautifully on top of other products. It hasn't added necessarily color. It's added a brightness to that area. Imagine this in small amounts under the eye when you're not wearing makeup and you just want to look a little bit fresher faced. It looks natural."

"This is my Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing Balm. [...] I just feel like it's gonna be this super powerful combination of just stripping off that makeup. I'm not even rubbing hard. [...] Look how quickly that came off. That is stunning. Stunning, stunning. So this is a great go to. What I love about their balms, especially the packaging, is it has this like grind to it. So you grind up just the amount you need. That way you're just using what you need. It's a really great way to control how much you're using."

"I feel like a lot of you are going to join me in the love for their Midnight Soothing Cleansing Balm. This is for sensitive skin. I consider my skin quite sensitive. If I overuse actives in skincare, if I overuse exfoliators, if I have to remove my makeup once or twice a day, my skin gets really, really sensitive. And it is just sensitive in general, especially after shaving or something like that. This has one of my favorite ingredients in it. That's black rice, which is packed with antioxidants. It has vitamins in it, vitamins B1, B2 and vitamin E, which protects the skin from free radicals. It also has chia seeds which are rich in omega 3, and that's what really helps to nourish and calm and soothe irritated skin. So for those days where perhaps you had a treatment on your skin or your skin isn't feeling quite right. It feels a little bit irritated. This is a great go to for makeup removal and chestnut shell, which I haven't seen in many other skincare things, in general, makeup removers."

"This is the Anua Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil. It's an oil that cleanses. I go through cleansing oils constantly because I'm washing my face every time I film, like three times a day. So this is actually a product that, of course, will remove your makeup, dissolve the makeup, but also helps to remove blackheads and sebaceous filaments effortlessly. Sebaceous filaments are those little dots in your nose that aren't necessarily full on blackheads, but they look like blackheads. Like the name suggests, it contains Heartleaf, which is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, it has antibacterial properties. So not only will it actually come off your skin and emulsify, it's also good for your skin. It has added benefits."

"I absolutely love oil cleansers. Oil cleansers literally melt away and dissolve your makeup, completely removed from the skin, leaving no traces behind. What I love about this one is it's very lightweight, feels very smooth and silky on the skin. And when you wash it away just with water, it completely comes off the skin. It doesn't leave any trace of oil behind. It leaves the skin feeling really smooth and soft. Being from the rice brand range, there is Rice Bran Oil in this, which is very softening to the skin, it's also an antioxidant, and also Vitamin E, which is another antioxidant in there too. So not only is it a great makeup remover, but it also has all those skincare added benefits."

"This is a toner that's deeply hydrating but also gently exfoliating. It's not a harsh exfoliation, you can use it daily, it's safe to use before you go out in the sun. It's very, very mild. I love building up layers of toner, and what you're doing is hydrating that skin without using something too thick or too heavy underneath your foundation, but you're giving yourselves excessive layers of moisture. One of my favorite toners ever."

"This toner has won the top-ranking toner and it won first place in the Olive Young Awards. Olive Young is a huge beauty retailer out there in South Korea. So for them to win number one place is a big deal. It's a huge deal. It's also perfect for sensitive and acne-prone skin. And that's because of the Heartleaf Extract and the Sugar Cane Extract. They act as natural AHAs, Alpha Hydroxy Acids, which gently, very gently, mildly almost, exfoliate the skin. So if your skin's really sensitive, mine's quite sensitive too, and you don't like using peels and exfoliators and things like that, you can use something as gentle as this daily and still get bright-looking skin that looks healthy and isn't sensitive in any way."

"This is a skincare powered formula [...] that visibly brightens and helps reduce the look of darkness over time, like a little Touché Éclat from YSL, a very thin formula that color corrects, with hyaluronic acid, cuticle oil, vitamin C, niacinamide and caffeine, thirty two dollars each. I'm actually happy with that price point, [...] I think it's nice. Could we have another shade in there? I have volume one of these and they are beautiful. They are so, so nice. Would I spend $200 on brushes? Honestly, yes. Just because I value a good brush because of my profession. For the everyday consumer, maybe not. But if you are into luxury brands, higher end brands, this is a great brand and a great artist who knows what they're talking about. I love these. I love the look of this one in particular."

"This is an iconic product, in the makeup world, right? Loads of people will have this in their pro kit. It's the original blue vanilla makeup brush cleaner. Somebody actually sent me this a while back, and this is... I wanted to include it today because I personally don't like this one. The smell makes me feel travel sick. It reminds me of vanilla car, you know, the trees, the car air freshener trees? And it reminds me of travel sickness. So I personally can't use it. The thing about this brush cleaner is it does not sanitize your brushes, right? It's designed to clean them. Which it does. It removes the makeup. And you can use it. It's great between clients and stuff. But it's just a brush cleaner. It's just a fast drying brush cleaner. That's all it is."

"I like this idea. One issue I've always had with Starface is I like their patches, but they're kind of a keep-me-from-picking, keep-the-scab-from-darkening product, I wouldn't reach for Starface if I had a big spot coming up and needed it gone the next day, I'd reach for something like ZitSticka or the Cosrx ones instead. But I would go for these because the microdots actually feel like they're doing something lower down, deeper in that spot level, to shrink it down, so these are actually really good. I do like Starface as a brand, they always do fun licenses. I'm not excited about these, but it's nice to know they're an option when I'm shopping for pimple patches in future, I think they'll be a good go-to, though I think I'd still choose ZitSticka over them, it depends on the price since ZitSticka is quite expensive."

"I've got these Hello Kitty ones, I've got Elmo. I actually have a few of them because the packaging got me, right. Don't get me wrong, these aren't the worst. I don't find they have the same impact as a lot of pimple patches I have used. And I think that they aren't as intense, you know? You know when you have a pimple, you want to put a pimple patch on, you want to see all that stuff in the pimple patch and peel it off and look at it and be like, oh my God, my pimple's flat. I don't find these do that. The Star Face ones, I think they are very... it's almost like a more gentler version, if that makes sense. And I'm not 100% sure how to describe it, but it just doesn't do the same thing for me that other pimple patches do."

"I hate body lotion, I hate putting cream on my body. I hate SPF on my body. I hate the sticky feeling and then you put your clothes on. But this actually has no residue, there's no greasy feeling, there's no sticky feeling. It has a formulation with omega fatty acids, shea butter, and B vitamins. When I put this on my elbows, which are always a little bit dry, and left it on for a few minutes, I could just touch my elbow and think, oh my god, my elbow feels really soft and smooth. It doesn't feel greasy or slippy, it just feels like I have really nice skin."

"I genuinely really like this mist right. I prefer this Rare Beauty mist to the Milk one because I use this to hydrate my skin because I'm super oily. This is just enough hydration for my skin before I put on foundation, and as an oily person I don't want to over prep. The Milk one is really good, it's mattifying, so on those days when I want my makeup to last a really really long time, perhaps it's not the best for my skin. I use the Milk one because I know it's going to grip and last forever. They actually serve two different functions."

"It's very lightweight. It doesn't make your face feel tight or anything like that. But what I found it did for me was provide this locked in barrier. Right? So nothing, no skincare was going to absorb, no moisture from my skin was going to be lost. My skincare was being kept locked in, secured in, and my skin was actually going to take in that moisture, which I really, really, really liked. So this one is literally made to wear overnight."

"I have actually truly never seen anything like this. Anything that kind of texture or formula. You apply as your last stage of skincare at night and then you wash it off by morning, which suggests that it does stay on the skin. But I really do feel like that's another option to lock in all that moisture, all that stuff that you're applying on your skin overnight, maybe it transfers onto your pillow, maybe you have air conditioning and it dries out your skin, heating, you know, that kind of thing. These kind of options, this overnight locking moisture into the skin, keeping moisture in the skin is going to be a great option, especially for you oily people out there. If you have a big event the next day, your wedding day, you're going to a wedding, you need your foundation to last all day. Your skin's a little bit dehydrated, but we know that in the morning, if we apply too much moisturizer, too much hydration, it's not going to help our foundation last as long. By making sure that your skin overnight is hydrated, kept moisturized, you don't have to use as much in the morning."

"I saw the neck one because I have this mark here that comes and goes depending on what's happening, and I would really like it to be gone. I bought that with my mind being that I've seen results previously from the face mask. It's great. Straps on nicely. It has a little cord, and you just tap it on. You can do your skincare, whatever, just not your neck yet. And it's an investment, right? £269 is no joke. It's no laughing matter. That is an investment piece. I keep it in its protection bag and I keep them nice and safe, away from direct sunlight. I probably wouldn't buy it again. But I just can't remember to use it. I never remember to use it. If I use it for four weeks in a row, I'm gonna start seeing results. I know I will because the face mask does it. I sit here and do my skincare every night, and I come in here and do my skincare. So why can't I just sit there for an extra few minutes with that on my neck? It velcros around the back, so it's all around my neck, and it's covering that little thing."

"I already have their neck and deck mask, which I absolutely love. I have their LED light panel also. When they asked me if I wanted to try the series 2 LED therapy mask, it was something I was genuinely very very interested in because LED light therapy is something I've already invested in for myself, especially from current body. LED light therapy has become incredibly popular over the last few years, particularly as beauty shifted towards skin focused routines rather than makeup focused routines. Red light helps target the appearance of fine lines and boosts radiance. Near infrared light helps support skin repair and recovery. Deep near infrared light is designed to reach deeper layers associated with firmness and more visible signs of aging. This isn't just some gimmicky thing. This is scientifically backed studies that are proven to work. The series 2 includes dedicated deep near infrared LEDs around the eyes and mouth which are often the first areas where people start noticing fine lines and other signs of aging. Consumer trials showed improvement in skin's brightness, skin tone, and texture and redness and the appearance of fine lines after consistent use. What stood out to me about current body is that it focuses less on flashy marketing claims and more on what actually determines whether LED light mask can deliver results. Every single mask is verified against the same clinical standards the studies were based on. Each mask comes with its own verit test card which allows you to view the testing information for your specific device. As somebody who's tested a lot of beauty devices over the years, I think that level of transparency is genuinely very interesting because it's not something you see very often. This LED mask is extremely extremely flexible. It's made from silicone. It sits very closely to the face because it wraps around your face. That closer fit helps ensure the light reaches the skin as effectively as possible while still being comfortable to wear."

"This particular LED mask from Ulike is real science-backed skin care technology, which is what we want. We don't just want someone telling us to put lights on our face and not tell us why. I've actually used quite a few different LED kind of gadgets and masks. Some of them extremely expensive, but this really is the one that has it all. Like, yeah, you're still around and maybe a certain generation of people use you, but that's the same audience that still use Avon. "Vaseline has no staying power. It's not a product that's made to hold anything, keep anything. It's slippery. It slips. You put Vaseline on your lips and it ends up down here eventually. Especially under mascara, this is a recipe for disaster. It is going to be so messy. [...] Vaseline doesn't act differently on your lashes than it does your skin. It isn't a different formula. It just [...] sits on top of stuff. So there's no reason why Vaseline would have any curling power or staying power in terms of your lashes. Absolutely none. [...] Oily eyelids already melt our makeup. And if you're not using an eyeshadow primer, that oil can transfer into your lashes, to your bottom lashes. That oily slippery formula is not good around the eye area. If you want longevity of your makeup, if you want your mascara to last a long time, your eyeliner to last a long time, you don't want to put anything slippery or greasy or oily."

"I cannot stress enough how much Dermatica has changed my skin noticeably over the years I've been using them. The changes I want to see in my skin were achievable and realistic. I want to see a more even skin tone, a more even texture. I want to fade dark spots that hang around my skin after I have like a blemish or something like that.
