My living proof has been getting clogged. This is actually the second time that I've been using the Living Proof dry shampoo and after a few days the nozzle won't go anymore. This is a second bottle where it's been like a full bottle and I've just been like so sucks.
I usually use Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream for my moisturizer. I love it, it's my favorite daytime moisturizer. It's perfect, it's simple, there's nothing in it. It's moisturizing without being too heavy. It doesn't leave me looking oily or too shiny or anything.
The Huda Beauty one is a little thick for my taste. I'm a little bit on the fence about the actual applicator. The color is so beautiful and it really stays put.
The mascara is a no for me. I don't like the wand. It's too big and fluffy. If you have really skinny lashes that have a lot of length and you're looking for volume, it seems to provide volume, but on my lashes, it just kind of got clumpy. I do like that it's super black. The brown color is fine. But I just don't like it. It gave me a very messy application on my lower lash line. I have much better mascaras that I use. It's definitely a pass for me on the mascara.
I'm not a fan. It felt like it kept drying out really quickly. I had to keep flipping it upside down and shaking it out because it kept drying out very quickly. I do think I've used it in the past and it was fine, so maybe I got a dud, I don't know.

"I think the colors that they chose are nice. I do appreciate that they included the burgundy to kind of give you a little bit of wiggle room. It's not just like your typical neutral palette where you have just neutrals because neutral can be interpreted in different ways for different skin tones. So I kind of appreciate that there's a little bit of variation in there. That being said, this is nothing new. The matte formulas are nice. I think they're blendable and easy to use, and there's enough pigment there that they'll work for a multitude of skin tones. I do like the metallics as well. Again, they're nothing groundbreaking, nothing that we haven't seen before, but pretty tones. If you need a neutral palette and you have been interested in this or you love Rare Beauty and you want to support them, then I think it's perfectly fine to make a purchase. If you don't need a neutral palette, if you have five neutral palettes already, you can probably skip it. I do like the packaging. I think it's cute for travel size, and it comes with a mirror."

These give you blending time, so you don't have to freak out about putting them down and working too quickly. Pigments go a nice long way too. It's another one of those products where if you love one of these shades, it's not like you're going to go through it immediately. It's going to really last you. It blends so perfectly and it just looks stunning, and that's one of the reasons that I've almost exclusively been using these on my lower lash line."

"If you have never used a brow pen, my favorites are the NYX ones. That's why I have like 400 of them. They're so good, a range of color. You just need a really, really light hand. It's going to be a nice feathery kind of thin line. If you hold it more straight or perpendicular against your skin, the flatter you place it against your skin, the more product is going to come out, the thicker the line is going to be. So I like to kind of do something in between and then angle it a little bit more as I get to sparser areas."

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of that because if you get a glue that is too tacky, it actually can be very difficult for beginners and it can end up just kind of globbing up in certain areas and it can result in too much glue. "I'm going to dip into this Makeup by Mario Ethereal Eyes Moonlight Palette. I'm going to mix this color with that color just to get a slightly deeper color, and use the 03 brush to intensify this contour slightly, especially focusing it on the outer part of the eye, so the outer two thirds, just so we balance that a little bit. Then I grab my little blender and just soften so it's blending into the bronzer we put down. Intensifying the contrast up here sort of gives a little bit more of a lift to the eyes."

"It is extremely gentle on the lashes, so if you have very brittle lashes or you don't want to be using waterproof because maybe you don't want to deal with a cleansing balm all of the time, then I do think that this is a really nice option. I prefer the wand for this mascara and it does create a really beautiful natural look. It's very combed out, it's very soft, it's very feathery. "The color has like neutralized the tone of my face a little bit more. So it's definitely not a perfect match, but that's not the end of the world. Because I am very yellow looking, I feel like I prefer the old color because it has a little bit more brightness to it. When there's a little too much red in a foundation, that can make me and the olive in my skin look kind of drab. It really just kind of removes the saturation and the color from my skin. That being said, the coverage is fine. It's not definitely not meant to be like a heavy coverage or even really medium coverage foundation in my opinion. It's more so like a natural, like a very natural coverage. I went over this area three times and didn't really build up coverage. However, I was using a sponge. If you do want to build up more coverage with this type of foundation, a brush is probably best."

"This foundation formula is amazing. I'm obsessed. Since I tried the olive shade, it's all I've been using. The foundation formula is so beautiful, it's really satiny. It's called the Performer so it's meant to be long wear, and I haven't had any problems with oil breaking through or anything like that. The wearability has been fantastic. I would highly recommend it. One thing I'll say about the doe foot applicator: I usually just put it out on the back of my hand for sanitary reasons, but for regular use I would suggest putting it on the back of your hand and picking it up with a sponge or brush. If you're a professional makeup artist the doe foot can be kind of annoying, but for regular old use that works well."

My shade is 17W French Vanilla, and if you're close to my shade range, I would say that it's a perfect match. A little bit goes a long way. It's very, very lightweight in texture. It's relatively buildable, but I typically like to use it to even out my skin tone and just create like a really beautiful base and then rely on my skin care and my concealer for like extra coverage. The thing that I love about it the most is that it's a water-based formula, so it's a little bit more liquidy and it doesn't feel heavy on my skin."

I'm so used to receiving complexion products from a brand, especially skin tints, because there are so many brands that think that oh, well, it's a tint, so we'll have one shade that'll work for a bunch of different skin tones. And it's like, no. Just because it's a tint and it's a more sheer formula doesn't mean that orange is going to look good on me. It's just going to tint me orange. So the shade of this is just incredibly beautiful. And the formula in general is like this beautiful satiny kind of finish. A lot of skin tints are just too heavy on my skin, like way too much moisture, and I would just break through my T-zone throughout the day, or immediately, like I couldn't set it. It would kind of like slip off. This does not do that. Like, not at all."

I've been using this as a color corrector underneath my eyes, and it's been working so well for my skin tone. "That's coverage, girl, that's coverage. When you start to blend it, it just keeps going. Oh, I like that a lot. It feels nice. As I'm patting it out, it's becoming a little bit more matte, so this is going to be one of those full coverage, more matte concealers that if you have extremely dry under eyes you might not like, but if you are someone who has slightly more oily skin or if you just really need that extra coverage, this works well. It's a little bit tacky when I touch it now and not maintaining that luminosity, but it actually looks really really nice on the skin. I think it's really moving with my skin. The color is slightly light for me, which I'm upset about, but I think if I'm doing full glam and I'm highlighting it'll be fine."

"I'm going to go in with Rare Beauty so I'm using two different concealers, 170W and then I think the other one is 100W. This is 170W, this is the one that is like closest to my skin tone, it brightens it, conceals. It's a beautiful color. I decided to do a little bit of highlighting with 100W and you can see that I'm focusing in just two tiny little areas, not a ton of concealer, being intentional with the placement. I'm working from places that don't need as much coverage to the area that needs the most coverage. Focus that directly underneath my eyes but not taking it all the way up to my lash line to prevent creasing. Take your time with this stuff, all of your creams really take your time with it because then you can go in with your powders later on and do some finishing touches."

Number one is you need to make sure that the color of your product is going to work with your skin tone. The problem is when you run into all three if we're talking Contour bronzer and blush, if all three of those are very jarring on your skin tone then you're gonna get muddiness just because it's not going to look correct, it's not going to look right on your skin. So number one is obviously going to be finding those colors that work well for your skin. Number two is how you apply them. I like light layers. I typically like to layer a really really light layer of cream products with a really really light layer of powder products on top."

"As far as clarifying shampoo, I'm loving this one again from L'Oreal. This is the EverPure clarifying shampoo. This is really really great, it says specifically for hard water exposure. Removes residue and buildup. It has a clarifying complex with glycine and vitamin C. I find it to be very, very cleansing, not in a drying way, which is fantastic. I don't use it every single time I wash my hair, but there are times when I use it like two washes in a row because I have a lot of product in my hair, and even when I do that, I don't find it to be particularly drying in any way. This does contain salicylic acid and benzoic acid. I really like it. I think it's nice and I like the scent of it."

"I was so anti-dry shampoo for so many years. When I was in high school, middle school, my friends were using dry shampoo and I was like, how are you using that stuff? It never worked, it always left a film on my hair. Living Proof dry shampoo is the best dry shampoo I've ever used ever. It actually makes my hair feel clean. My process is I wash my hair at night, then in the morning I'll mist my hair, blow dry, don't really need any additional product. The next day, same thing, mist my hair, blow dry, dry shampoo. Now I can push that one more day if I need to. When I do that I'll mist my hair with a little bit of water, then mist it with a little bit of leave-in conditioner, blow dry, and then dry shampoo. That makes a really big difference. My hair looks so good with that sequence."

"So many of them they just are duds. I open it and this happens, and then you try to poke, like 'is there a clog?' but it's like it's never been used before. Try to run it under some warm water, the nozzle nope, nothing worked, nothing at all. This is a full full dry shampoo, can't use it, completely unusable. I switched to another brand because that was just happening way too often and I was over it. A lot of you have been having that same struggle with Living Proof. It's really disappointing. Hopefully it's just a manufacturing error, but until I can be sure that I will not be receiving a dud, I am not buying it anymore."

It lasts, even though it's like a little bottle, and I think they have larger bottles, but even this little bottle will last me forever. I guess I don't have that much hair, so if you have more hair maybe you need a little bit more, but it lasts me forever and I love it so much, it's really really great, it's not stripping, it's fantastic. I'm never leaving this behind, this is my fave."

It can be really, really great, it's a great ingredient, it's great for skin, especially for people who tend to be a little bit more on the oily side but need that hydration. However, the combination of the cone in the Aveeno moisturizer and the E.L.F. Power Grip Primer to me sounds like a bad combo. It feels like that's where we're going wrong. So if you are someone whose skin on your body is just too sensitive or has been very sensitive to retinol and you want to use a retinol lotion, this is nice because it combats that dryness with the amount of hydration. If you're someone who's sensitive, if you have dry skin, you would probably like this a little bit better. I've used other retinol body lotions before that I find very drying, so if you've used those and don't like them, this is a good option. I just don't know if it's my favorite for the price, you know what I mean."

I don't really get KP bumps, I get a little bit sometimes like right here on my arm, very annoying, but when I use that scrub we get nothing, skin nice and exfoliated and healthy. I usually use it like one or two times a week. The First Aid Beauty one is a little bit more gritty, it's like kind of a gray color, a little bit more gritty. "This is the Birch Juice moisturizing sunscreen from Round Lab, and I'm obsessed with it. This is the sunscreen that I've been looking for my entire life. I'm incredibly sensitive, my skin is sensitive to mineral sunscreens and my eyes are sensitive to chemical sunscreens. So I have to find the right UV filters that are not going to irritate my eyes because mineral sunscreen dries out my skin. If you are like me and your typical avabenzone, octinoxate, homoalate, all of those UV filters sting your eyes like crazy, this is a great option if you're someone who's a little bit more oily and you're looking for something that's like a little more matte but not dry."

This leaves me looking pretty like glass skin. It just makes me look like my skin just looks moisturized and is so good under makeup. I listened when I discovered this sunscreen and I stocked up so I'm going to be using this for a while."

It's big and bulky, and I guess you could call it graphic. The colors are cool and everything, it's just not my vibe. I don't like that it's square, it really bothers me. But I love the product, I really do. I just think it's so fantastic and it's a really great way to hydrate my skin before I go in with any serums or moisturizers or whatever. And I use it before my moisturizer every single time."

I felt like it lasted long enough, it was just a mist, so I felt like it had a decent shelf life compared to other products. How to prevent concealer creasing FOR GOOD
"I did three little mists of this, the BYOMA Balancing Face Mist. It has ceramides, probiotics, and allantoin. It's just like a hydrating mist that I like. If my skin hadn't been rinsed and then just kind of dry, if I had just rinsed my face and immediately gone in with my skincare, I probably would have skipped this step, so just keep that in mind."

"Olaplex Volumizing Blow Dry Mist is one of my favorite volumizers, especially when my hair is nice and short. Olaplex is great, it's also got a built-in heat protection which is amazing. So what I really like about this is that I obviously will focus it at my roots, so my roots are not only going to be volumized, which is where I want the volume, but also the heat protection is there, and then I can focus the rest of my heat protection mist on the outer part of my hair. I have very fine hair, it tends to get oily, so I don't like having a lot of heat protection mists that are just really oily and heavy, having it deep down at my roots just kind of makes my hair look more greasy, so it's really nice to not have that. This is just a very very gentle lift, it's not heavy, it doesn't weigh the hair down like a lot of mousses can, especially if you have very very short hair. When my hair is real short, I just don't need to be using a mousse or anything like that. It's really good. So if you have really fine hair and you're looking for something that's going to help protect your hair from heat and humidity and also give it that lift."

"I like to go in with a little bit of the Snail Mucin 96, the power essence. I've gone through all of the snail mucin from COSRX, and I kind of like them all honestly. I'm using this one right now. It's fantastic for kind of like trapping in that moisture, so if you're trying to heal dehydrated skin, it's really, really great for that. I find it to be much more effective for my skin than hyaluronic acid, but it might be something good to use on top of hyaluronic acid."

"It speeds up recovery time for blemishes and wounds. If you have post acne, maybe you've popped something, this is going to help treat that area, keep it hydrated, and make sure it heals quickly, and it absolutely cured my dehydrated skin. I was using this basically every single day, not underneath makeup, because it creates kind of a waxy base. If I used it underneath makeup my foundation would pill, so I wouldn't recommend it for that, but in the evenings underneath my moisturizer, after having exfoliated, I look like I have dipped my head in Vaseline. I wake up the next day looking glowing. So, worth it. You can get it on Amazon, also on YesStyle. COSRX is a Korean brand, made in Korea, fantastic."

This is the Medik8 Crystal Retinal 20, which is much higher. They have a series of retinals and you can start with the lowest percentage and kind of work your way up, which is really great. It's a stable retinol retinal night serum. It's not quite as strong as my other retinol, and so I've seen quite the reduction in irritation, which has been fantastic. It is very expensive and it's bright orange, which is really annoying, so I sleep on a black silk pillowcase because this will stain the hell out of your pillowcases, which is really annoying. But it's a really great formula."
