EverPure Bond Repair+ Shampoo & Conditioner

Dream Coat Supernatural Spray
Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray

If you don't care what kind of hair product it is but you just want something to give you a super glossy result, Color Wow Dream Coat honestly can't be beat. The difference between something like this and the Way gloss, no question.

My favorite cleanser of all time is still currently the Prequel cleanser.
★ Best dry aerosol heat protectant
Perfect Hair Day Heat Styling Spray

★ Best drugstore conditioning product
Intensive Repair 10-in-1 Bond Strength Peptide Complex Serum Hair Mask
Dove Intensive Repair 10-in-1 Bond Strength Peptide Complex Serum Hair Mask
Brought up 5 times
Dove 10 in 1 Bond Strength Serum Mask is one of my current favorite drugstore bond repair lines, and I'm already almost through my bottle. It's worked amazingly well for my hair, and it has ingredients and formulas I fully believe in.
★ Best tinted sunscreen
Pure Screen Mineral UV Tint Face Liquid
Neutrogena Pure Screen Mineral UV Tint Face Liquid
Brought up 5 times
For tinted sunscreens, my current favorite is the Neutrogena Purescreen+ Mineral UV Tint. This is very liquidy and runny and it gives you a really nice glowy finish, and I love that it comes in four shades.

Nothing about this screams full of life on my skin. Initially it looks pretty dry, and even as the day goes on it still just looks a little too makeup-y for my preference. The biggest thing I noticed is that it really settles into lines more than any other foundation I've tried in the past couple of years, even though it claims not to settle into lines at all. At $52, one was definitely not worth the splurge for me.

It just lightens my skin overall, so this is certainly not invisible. It also takes quite a while to set on my skin and feels a little greasy for about an hour, and then [...] it just looks like an oily moisturizer on me. And something in this also stings my eyes. [...] It causes some eye irritation, so this is a big fat pass for me.
Abbey Yung: Nay vs gurus 74% Yay Sponsored
It has a super glossy finish, smooths over lines, and looks plump and juicy, which I love. But it fades pretty quickly for me, and the taste is gross to me. I want to put it on to feel that initial texture, but I can't deal with the taste, so it's a fail.

"Dermatology Universal Tinted is one of my tinted sunscreen favorites, with much more of a glowy finish. The downside is it, like the matte version, only comes in one shade with no shade range."

"The Banana Boat Light as Air Sunscreen is [...] truly one of the best body sunscreens I've ever tried. It's not greasy at all, not thick, and once it dries down it really doesn't feel like you have anything on, which is my biggest issue with body sunscreen in general. It's one of the few that doesn't have that sticky, wet feel."

"And surprise, surprise, this has one of the worst white casts I have tried in a long time, which is kind of insane for a sunscreen that claims to be invisible and is marketed so heavily like that. They're really relying on that messaging in their marketing, and I'm like, why? It's not invisible. Not only is it not invisible, it has an awful white cast. So why would that be your marketing for something like this? Just lean into something else. Why? Ultra Sheer, my ultra not sheer. No."

"In reality it is so greasy, gross to apply, and [...] greasy in finish, and [...] it didn't fully set either. I was left with a greasy looking [...] layer of product on my skin, and up close [...] it dried down streaky in any area I didn't blend perfectly. It was a complete mismatch from how it was described and a big letdown given how much I trust the brand."

"It looks glowy at first but dries down to a natural finish. [...] On the plus side, it doesn't get oily on me at all, which is incredible for my [...] oily skin. But [...] it does start to feel a little tight and dry on my face. If you have super oily skin and don't mind some tightness, this might be right up your alley, but I don't think that you'll love this if you have dry skin unless you use a really thick, ultra moisturizing moisturizer underneath."

"I've been raving about this for a couple of years now. Still obsessed with it, still love it, still recommend it. It is so amazing for a sunscreen that is lightweight yet hydrating, [...] and it's the only one of my top three sunscreens that dries down to a naturally glowy finish. [...] It's easy to work with whether worn alone or under makeup."

"It made for a really nice makeup primer. But outside of that as a sunscreen by itself, [...] there's nothing amazing about it, it's good but not outstanding. If you're launching a $19 sunscreen in 2025, [...] I feel like this is just more of what we already have, which doesn't make it bad, [...] it's just not something that stands out to me as a remarkable new sunscreen launch."

"It starts off light but can be built up to medium coverage pretty easily, with a natural to naturally glowy finish without powder and a satin to satin matte finish with powder. I really love how this looks right after I apply it, and I continue to love it through a full day of wear because it doesn't get greasy on me. Overall, very impressed with this, so, so good, and [...] this is going to be the new best drugstore tinted sunscreen, hands down."

"The finish is naturally glowy and it has a moisturizer dry down. I still absolutely love this, I think it's perfect for winter months when I want something a bit more creamy and moisturizing, but I can still wear it in summer and not feel like it's too heavy. [...] I love that I can get that more moisturizing feel without a super wet finish, which is another reason I'll continue to use and love it."

"I'd describe this as an emollient lotion, definitely not watery at all but very soft and very moisturizing, with a naturally glowy finish and a light moisturizer dry down. All around this is definitely a sunscreen I enjoy, but I [...] still prefer the texture of the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen, there's just something about it that's even lighter and less emollient that I prefer. If you have drier skin, this is going to be for you."

"I felt it wasn't actually the most moisturizing sunscreen in this video when worn alone without makeup on top, even though I expected it to be based on the hype. "This is the only one in this entire video that I noticed stinging my eyes, though that may partly be because it was windy [...] the last time I wore it. It has been reformulated since it first went viral, so I won't be keeping this one, it's not something I want to reach for over the Beauty of Joseon or House of Hur sunscreens. "It's something you can easily incorporate into your routine regardless of skin type, [...] oily skin can enjoy the finish without a thick or creamy feel, and [...] dry skin [...] can layer it over a thicker moisturizer. "This is a creamy lotion that feels nice and moisturizing without feeling heavy or overly thick, with a lightweight moisturizer dry down and a natural to naturally glowy finish that makes my skin look nice and hydrated. It's not the lightest Asian sunscreen I own, but it's one I want to keep in my collection for days when I want something a bit more moisturizing, especially because of the finish it gives my skin. "It's not the most lightweight texture, more of a thicker lotion or lighter weight cream, not fluid or serum-like, but once applied it doesn't feel heavy on my skin. "It's not one that I love on my skin personally because of that extra wet look, and on top of that it does just have an awful smell, different from Live Tinted and maybe not quite as intense, but I still just don't love it. "It has a cream-like texture that's thicker and stiffer, not as pleasant to apply, with sheer coverage and a natural finish. [...] At $45 I just don't know who I would recommend this to. I used to love the original UV AOX Elements, but they repackaged it and allegedly reformulated it, and tons of reviews say the same thing, that [...] the new one is no good. It's kind of thick and stiff and it oxidizes, so I personally just wouldn't recommend this sunscreen anymore."

"It gives sheer coverage and leans more natural to natural matte rather than fully matte. If you have oily skin and want a sheer tinted sunscreen that doesn't pull too warm and doesn't enhance your oils, you may really love this, as long as the shade works for you. "It offers sheer coverage with a dewy finish. I'd want to recommend it for those with dry skin given the dewy finish, but if it leaves me with that tighter feeling, I can only imagine how it would feel on super dry skin. [...] As of right now I would say that I feel like this is kind of skippable."

It's a chemical sunscreen with 6.3% zinc oxide plus homosalate and octocrylene. It did have a white cast, it dried down really quickly which made it hard to blend and left white streaks. Everything started peeling, it felt gross and thick and sticky, a fail for me. I had to wipe it off and reapply something else."

When this is built up to have more pigment, I definitely do think it looks dewy. This is the dewy finish of this blush. "It's a little thicker than La Roche-Posay's, but it feels more cosmetically elegant on my skin, incredibly conditioning, really nice and soft, with more of a natural dry down than La Roche-Posay's dewier finish. I've been loving layering this on top of moisturizer at night, and for that layering [...] purpose, [...] Prequel has been my go-to."

"But it's still nice. If you typically gravitate towards floral, you would enjoy this for something a little different. Speaking of Delina, I didn't even need to look up whether this was supposed to be a Delina dupe. I knew from the second I sprayed it. I'm like, "Oh, that's what you're trying to do." It's described as a warm floral with notes of black currant, rose, and cashmere wood. And while it is very reminiscent of Delina to me when I first spray it, it's definitely not an exact dupe."

"Flur Vanilla Skin was previously only available in a body mist, but they came out with it in a perfume so now it lasts so much longer. It has notes of sugar crystals, cashmere wood and vanilla, a little spicy, a little woodsy, a little skin-like, super yummy."

"If Carolina Herrera is the perfume you would wear on a date night in front of a fire, this is what you would smell like after that date night. This is so cozy, and I normally am not someone that loves this super woodsy fragrance, but there's just something about this that is so special it makes it okay for me, [...] it's giving chestnuts grilling, crackling wood fire, chimney, but sweet notes of vanilla to reinforce a warm and cozy sensation."

Masks & Peels3 reviews
"I've also been testing out mandelic acid, and after using up an entire bottle of the Geek & Gorgeous Cheer Up Liquid Exfoliant, I can officially call this a favorite. It's described as a lightweight, fast absorbing exfoliating liquid that's designed to treat combination skin gently but effectively. It has a duo of mandelic and salicylic acid to exfoliate both the surface of the skin as well as inside the pores, and it's both antibacterial and anti-inflammatory."

"Between the conditioner and the mask, the mask is my personal favorite for my own hair just because I have a lot of it. But I still feel like I'm able to get that really light, fluffy result where my hair is not weighed down. It doesn't feel heavy. I still can have volume. So if that's what you're going for, but you want something that's slightly thicker than the conditioner, this will be the one for you."

"But I won't use it again. I have the Etude Fixing Tint in shade seven, Cranberry Plum, and shade 11, Rose Blending, which end up looking quite similar. Rose Blending is just a little deeper, but they're both warm, cranberry-like shades. These have a thin cream texture that I do not find conditioning at all, so I definitely need a balm with them. They are highly pigmented with a natural matte finish."

Retinoids3 reviews
"I believe I was on a couple of different things, but that's probably what prompted me to pick that up. I did experience a purge with Differin as well, but that was much shorter, I think only a couple of weeks. I got seven or eight breakouts at once, and then that was it. So I continued to use the Differin, but it was just never strong enough for me to completely get rid of the hormonal acne, so that is when I went back to the dermatologist and got another prescription for tretinoin."

"Geek and Gorgeous retinal, I talk about that one all the time on my page, they have sophisticated delivery systems."

"SkinMedica retinol is a higher-end product that doesn't use a delivery system. You're charging almost $200 for that and you're not even using a delivery system, it's crazy, that stuff could be breaking down in the formula."

Toners3 reviews
"It never causes peeling. It doesn't disrupt anything with the rest of my skincare or makeup routine. It doesn't cause my makeup to go patchy. It's just great for that. And I do definitely feel that this helped to reduce some of the look of that excess shine, but not fully. It wasn't enough to completely solve it for me. So it just got me thinking about other small tweaks I could make to help address that further."

"I'll leave that on for several minutes in the shower, then I'll rinse it off, and when I get out I'm ready for the rest of my routine. I start the rest of my routine with a hydrating mist. This one is from Geek & Gorgeous and it's called Liquid Hydration. It contains 5% panthenol, natural moisturizing factors, and dantoin, so it's hydrating, calming, soothing, and delicious."

"If a panel is not what you're looking for and you're more interested in a face mask, the one that I used to use that I would still highly recommend is CurrentBody. They've actually recently upgraded their face mask, so they have a new model that has some improved features and is even better than what they had before."
