You basically hold it next to your finger, you pull your hair while it's wet, and you create straight hair. That hair like curls itself into a ribbon if you have natural texture, then you use the Verb gel which is lightweight and non-crunchy to hold it in there, and then it turns out into these curls that are all forming the same direction in the same pattern like little ribbons.
