“This brand is expensive. Like, crazy expensive.”
▶6:42“This serum costs €350 for one fluid ounce and contains basic ingredients like grapefruit water, glycerin, grape extracts, and sodium hyaluronate—the cheaper salt version of hyaluronic acid. The fact that they're charging this much money while using inexpensive ingredient options is hilarious. You can get similar or better formulations for $12.99 to $17 from K Beauty brands or drugstore options.”
▶30:29“This cream costs €275 for 1.7 fluid ounces and contains basic, inexpensive ingredients like grapefruit water, coconut oil, glycerin, shea butter, and grape extracts. While the ingredients are decent, they don't justify this price point. The same formula quality is available elsewhere for a fraction of the cost.”
▶29:14“This serum has grape water, grape flour extract, and grape skin extract, along with centella leaf extract, red algae extract, lactobacillus ferment filtrate, chondrus crispus extract, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, and tea extract, and it doesn't have fragrance. My understanding is the resveratrol is predominant in the grape skin, but to what extent you're actually getting much resveratrol from this product, that's at least the more evidence based compound, and to what extent these three ingredients are really delivering potent levels of those antioxidants, it's hard to say. Probably it's potentially very very low. It's $185 for one ounce, which is absurd, and I will not be buying it.”
▶5:04“The cream has grape skin extract, centella, sunflower seed oil, shea butter, and olive oil, and unlike the serum it does have fragrance. Brands love to claim the serum is more potent than the cream, but do we even know if these trademark complexes of these ingredients are actually effective in terms of getting in and doing these things? Hard to say. It's $320 for 1.7 ounces, which is absurd, and I will not be buying it.”
